Partner Track popped up in my Netflix home suggestion (which I normally ignore 99X out of 100 lol). I clicked and instantly Ingrid (Arden Cho) invited me into her world and what happens here. How she communicates so much in a look or a murmur is so important. I usually watch comedy or reality but her talent is so magical I felt transported to another reality. Thanks to Phil Wang for this creative and entertaining interview!

My kindergarten teacher LITERALLY DID THE SAME EYE THING TO ME!!! My jaw literally dropped when Arden told that story. I was shamed from so early for not having white features and I grew up hating myself and being Asian. I had to do a lot of soul searching as I got older and I’m so happy Arden talked about it.

Thank you, Arden and Phil, for diving deep about experiencing racism as a child and not being "American" or "Asian" enough. This is such a great webseries and I hope Netflix keeps it going! Rahul Kohli from Bly Manor and Midnight Mass would be a great guest, especially since he's in the upcoming Netflix original, The Fall of the House of Usher!

This is so my story. Imagine how many of Asian American adults feel like they don’t belong in either group. Sadly, it’s a part of the cruelty of life. In Korea people are also mistreated and experience prejudice from their own race.

Fantastic actress with an obvious edge for fashions. What a knock-out outfit, absolutely georgous 100% ...give her something fancy to signal her indispensable importantce to the long term growth of social on YT (and other platforms) *rolls royce? Put a 90's decal on the bumper that reads ... Ardens Azure 🤩 o k Thank-you 😊👍👍 ... she wouldn't even care would she? 😏

Late to the show & was screaming at Ingrid mid-way through, but Netfix, YOU NEED TO RENEW THIS SHOW for at least another season. There's not enough Asian-American representation. This show brings up Asian-American issues that need to be explored & discussed. Shows from Asia is not the same - Asian-Americans have a totally different set of problems that shows from Asia just won't adequately address. There's a reason I don't watch Netflix as much - there's just not enough representation for people like me - westerners with Asian ancestry.

Partner Track is such a good telling of what it's like to be an Asian woman in a white male dominated field and Arden nails it. Ngl was triggered by the microaggressions but seeing my story represented finally feels so good. Also not surprised by all the mrasians hating on an Asian woman just having a journey that we get to see. If you've watched PT you know what the show is and that a lot of their argument falls flat. Huzzah for you Arden!!! And mad love to Phil for going out for Z haha 💜

As a Korean American, I’m proud of Arden Cho. But to be honest, I really wanted to like Partner Track. I really didn’t like the story line of two characters cheating. The whole racism and Jeff Murphy character was too much. The sisters acting and parents acting was poor. I also found the last few episodes was lacking. I would give it 5-6⭐️ out of 10. Continue to shine AC.

@@SK-ed1gs Inserting a token Asian love interest for last minute damage control isn’t really a good look. Seems like they added one simply to avoid any controversy, which obviously didn’t work. The show clearly has an agenda and could at least respect it if they were upfront about it. Instead they gaslight and try to warp it to some sort of moment for Asian Americans. Asian women in Hollywood are some of the biggest hypocrites out there.

*I quite like legal dramas and was genuinely interested in this one...until the **_You have no idea how hard it is to be a person of color at this firm_** line jarred me back to reality* 1) Been in Japan and China for 30 yrs, speak both. No Asian calls himself a "person of color," he only ever says Japanese or Korean, Chinese, Mongolian, etc. 2) According to the Woke faith, Asians aren't "people of color" (sic). Ms. Wan seems to be trading in Woke-ism and DIE only when it suits her. 3) This show is Woke so it's not for me, but it didn't have to be that way: If the character had said "how hard it is to be a person like me," it wouldn't have raised an eyebrow.

Why would a person in their own country surrounded by her people of their race and culture state they are a person of color? This commentary is so ignorant and assine evident by your use if "woke" to define awareness.

@@primrosed2338 _This commentary is so ignorant and assine evident by your use if "woke"_ You using smears like "ignorant" and "asinine" is richly ironic given the fact that you misspelled "asinine" and you wrongly wrote "if" rather than "of." _"woke" to define awareness."_ Woke-ism is not "awareness," it's a social justice cult.
