Your tutorial helped me to create the effect I was looking for when using the path>difference function. You duplicated the letter then selected path>difference (See portion of video 3:55 to 4:23) . I do not understand why duplicating is necessary, but that was the part I needed to get the desired effect I wanted. Thank you.
