Ithi Srimat Paramahamsa Parivrajakaacharyasya Sri Govindabhagavathapujya pada shishyasya Srimat Shankara Bhagavathaha kruthou Ardhanareeshwara stotram sampoornam Thus completes the Ardhanareeswara stotram composed by Sri Adi Shankara, the disciple of the honorary Sri Govinda bhagavatpada, who is titled Paramahamsa parivrajakacharya (wandering supreme teacher with pure and transcendence knowledge). Ardhanareeswara Stotram Benefits Ardhanareeswara Stotram is considered as one of the sacred stotras as the form says that both God Shiva and Goddess Parvati are one and the same and are inseparable. As per the Shiva Maha Purana the Ardhanareeswara form was first appeared before Lord Brahma to enlighten him on the creation. The appearance of this form during the Sage Bhringi’s offerings also shows the importance and says Shiva and Shakthi are one and the same. Ardhanareeswara stotram benefits are clearly explained in the phalastuti part, that this great hymn improves you and makes you a great being, gives long life, great honour. The palastuti part also mentions that reciting the stotram with great devotion will bring auspiciousness and good fortune in life. Also, you can get the divine bliss of the both God Shiva and Goddess parvathi when you reciting the stotram by understanding the meaning and visualizing the form.

This performance seems so true to the intention of the dance. At the end of it, I was left with such adoration to Sadashiva, and I completely forgot about the dance and the dancer. Thank you. For the dance to be truly effective, you have to disappear, and you seem to have done this really well. Hats off to you and thank you for this experience.

You are one of the very few male dancers I like. Usually male dancers' movements are so soft they look female, but your technique is strong without being rough. Awesome dance!!!

Exactly, you said right, I just thought that he is neither presented it as rough as a make nor like a woman.. awesome performance, postures, expression & perfection..loved it
@shubhramishra95837 жыл бұрын
Well, that's primarily because this dance is about the male element of the nature, Shiva. And one where you see male dancers with soft feminine motions is a different classical form based on the female energy, Radha, where it is assumed that every single entity in this universe is form of female element 'Radha' and the only male element is Krishna(almighty) which she seeks.
@shivampatnaik20006 жыл бұрын
Shubhra Mishra I agree. I've seen great dancers acting both masculine and feminine when they depict different characters(I generally watch Odissi though. Can't confirm for Bharatanatyam dancers. But I guess it must hold true for Bharatanatyam as well). But I admit that inexperienced dancers sometimes aren't able to balance both sides of the spectrum and appear more effeminate than required. I recently watched an Odissi recital by the maestro late Shri Kelucharan Mohapatra on KZbin. He depicts Radha and performs gracefully(an ashtapadi from Jayadeva's Gita Govinda). But no one can say that he overstepped the balance. It's simply a treat to the eyes. How do you find this one?-kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3Swe6Gpe7WUh6s He performed this somewhere towards the end of his life. I can't imagine how exquisite a dancer he must have been in his youth. So sad that I couldn't see him live😔😭

This is not Bharata Natyam as created by the Thanjavur Quartet Parampara, this is an acrobatic Indian dance, movements are from Bharata Natyam and there are postures (karana's) the choreography is weak. Where is the rhythmic that makes the original art so great!! Music is weak not suitable for a choreography if not reworked to suit the choreography! He can be a good dancer but he need a good master! I think the Kishna brothers are powerful and brilliant artists I was lucky to see them performing in Auroville, and they are from the Netherlands. So artistically very weak dance choreography which we are bombarded with the reason also why the original Thanjavur Quartet BN became a mass production, an highly artistic temple and royal art is now almost gone because people are to lazy to undergo the hard training of the technical part of the art!

You are a wonderful dancer Parswanath. Hope you will make a big name in the field of Indian classical dance. All great mastreos have always learnt the other forms of Indian classical dances as well, inorder to break the monotony. You too can try your hand in other form of dances to improvise your Abhinaya. I have been watching even your live performances for the past 8years.You have blended the acrobatics aesthetically in Bharath Natyam, which is considered as highest form of Yoga. God bless U.
