I picked up a bottle of unaged Ardmore when I was first getting into smokey whisky. It was the cheapest option by far, but it still cost as much as a 10 year old Spey side. Anyway it was garbage. There is a light-medium smokiness and literally nothing else. Maybe I'll pour the remaining half into a wooden mug and give it 20. Turns out the unaged Ardmore was reviewed here. But it's 46% in the...EU? 40 in Australia of course.

49% abv... "first, a little watery..." I don't think I'd ever experience 49% like that x) Still, enjoyed the review.
