I remember when this came out. At the time I was at a very bad place in my life. In that one year I had just lost my job and my house. My car was repossessed and I had to bury my dad. I remember sleeping on the floor in my mom's living room looking forward to the evenings when just for a moment I could find peace in videos like yours and others. You might never see this comment but thank you nonetheless.

How does this not have half a million views? Your artistry is in the upper eschelon, paired with an innate ability that only a few really have- Gentle Whispering and Cutebunny992 are the only other two I have seen with that inexplicable authenticity that you possess. It's something about knowing who you are, a genuine compassion, and a touch of detachment or separateness. You pair that with artistry and a powerful work ethic and you are a force - a powerful one. A poem. Thank you for the beautiful work you do. Your powerful nature is seen and valued.

sahib5 heee thanks :3 If you go back in my videos like 8 months and look at my normal ones I think you'll have your answer. I'm kind of in a period of transition, but seriously some of my videos are absolute shite.

:) It is the curse of the artist to focus on their flaws and never feel their work is good enough. Ironically, that's what keeps making them better. Pretty much the story of every artist throughout history. Plus - one has to start somewhere, yes? Meantime, your'e on a really amazing path and I'm one of the many thankful for the beautiful content. Here's to you and your artistry.

The moments when your self backs off and yields to pure awareness of your experience is the best ASMR here. The moments of silence reflected on your face is bliss. Then to see your mind once again make ripples in that purity is so much fun. Is the world ready for existential ASMR?? 😁

Your work was astonishing before, but in the past month, you became (one of) the best ASMRtists :D People tend to forget that asmr is not about sounds and noise. Its close to music. You not just present, you explore. You make connections, you tell something. You go deeper, little bit personal. EphemeralRift was groundbreaking in this, and you have a unique twist on it also. You are curious, you have always something to share, its beautiful. Shows that you care, and thats probably the biggest trigger out there :D You use this as a form of expression, and not just crinkling some materials for some cheap thrills. Not to mention the quality of your videos which deserve a whole new post :D Brilliant, keep up this amazing work, and thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
@ardraneala9 жыл бұрын
MokiSenpai Thank you :) I've tried to keep it real since I started my asmr channel in 2012, keeping the themes I explore in my ASMR videos autobiographical, especially as it relates to bacteriological infection and Jungian theory. I became kind of discouraged from fully realizing my original vision starting out but I'm coming back around. Seems like yesterday...I remember when he told me that I could make a large impact with my masks and leather neck corset back when we both started. I kind of lost my way. It's interesting to watch how people develop over the years. You should check out my tumblr maybe :)
@MokiSenpai9 жыл бұрын
***** Definitely will check it out. Im following your work since the release of Psionic Initiation. For me, that was your masterpiece for a long time. I enjoyed many of your videos since, but that was the one i always gravitated back to. It was a surreal and also familiar experience, with a level of immersion that is super rare amongst content creators which is a shame, because i think thats the main reason why asmr works. After that, Krampus was a huge hit with me also, because the whole story driven aspect elevated it above simple roleplay. Again, it just made ASMR shine, made its potencial even more visible. So yeah, im familiar with your work, and your experiments with this medium (i dare call it like that, because of people like you :D) But lately you put out videos on a weekly bases, without a miss so far, each and every one of them as good as the others, with amazing production value and skill... so i had to say something about it :D But what im saying is that i think ASMR is at the state, where it collects the body of works like yours and ER (and many others), so it can present it to the world, so everybody can put their fingers on it. It almost ready to open towards the world, showing what it is really about so people could implement it, experiment with. Because as i said, ASMR is expression based, its immersive, affectionate, its a powerful tool in a sense that it can live on inside other media, like music, movies.
@ardraneala9 жыл бұрын
MokiSenpai Thank you :) I hope part two for it is as well received but part of me knows it won't since it's more like the second half only more fuckery. I don't think my stuff is what the world should see
@MokiSenpai9 жыл бұрын
***** Well, it should be, because the second part is key. I mean, people have to view these pieces in one. You cant just shut them off in mid way. You wouldn't turn off a movie after you get intrigued :D About the what the world should see. I didnt meant it in a commercializing fashion. I meant it like when you talk about movies, you mention certain directors to expand on it. I want the same for ASMR... when people talk about it, i want people like you to be mentioned, because i want a bright future for this medium. :) I dont want it to became a sensation and it to boil down to nothing more than people crinkle and tap stuff without heart in front of a mobile phone camera. But i dunno, people probably want scientific explanation how ASMR works before they can embrace it. Which is wierd, because we dont stop to think scientificly, when we start crying after watching an emotional scene in a movie. Ofcourse we could, but we just label it as natural.

Interestingly, as a POC, I find it relaxing to encounter evidence of growing interest in anti-oppression discourse :) The world is no doubt shitty and it's hard to relax but -- unusual as it might be -- I've never been able to find self care in circumstances that completely divorce from material reality. That being said, finding that one mention in a video (that would have been great either way) was really just an unexpected bonus ;). Apart from that, here's to interesting conversation :)

It definitely can be good exercise, so can the massages. I am not sure how long of a massage that you are accustomed to but when i give a massage it's at least forty-five minutes to a full hour. I don't expect that long of a massage back though :P also, from reading about your issues with nasty comments on your videos. you look great all the time but I am watching "That Gal.. Who Was in That Thing" and it outrages me that women have it so rough when it comes to media/film. I recommend you watch the documentary if you ever have some time for it.
@ardraneala9 жыл бұрын
Prismatic Prisoner Oh that was nothing, just an observation, I don't really get hate. I regret pointing it out. And I do love to give massages, especially trying to find and identify the muscles in the back at the same time, it's good for strengthening the hands too. Ok I'll give it a watch, thank you, I just watched Big Eyes. Idk, I might find it depressing lol
@prismaticprisoner9 жыл бұрын
I am finding the documentary fairly aggravating at first, but to see how strong these women are to keep at it. is inspirational. I like giving massages and finding those knots and following muscle lines and I don't just focus on the back and neck areas. You have got to at the very least give the legs and especially the feet some tender love and care. Most people relax quite a bit from hand and foot massages. Also, haters gonna hate. Just keep working and focusing on how helpful you are being to so many people.
