Haha Chris - great catch! Waiting for someone to point that out. Yes, the resistor can go on either side of the LED. Its purpose is to limit current, so it works effectively whether it's before or after the LED. However, the LED’s orientation matters-the anode (longer leg) should connect to the positive side or pin 13 in our case, and the cathode (shorter leg) should connect to ground.

@@pattvira haha thanks, well I've worked with arduino before, even took an electronics class and never had I given it a thought 😅 but yes, it caught my attention as I was used to connect the resistor to the anode
