I love using Arduinos for model railroading. I currently have 3 Arduinos for my shelf layout. Great update. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure but I think the name of the servo, "Tower Pro" wasn't mentioned in either video.. or I just missed it. I only mention it in case others are curious about that. I recall Larry Harper also did a video on a similar use of the servo in place of a switch motor. Some of your subs might want to check out Larry as well. Nice presentation. Thanks.

Thanks for the information. My servos are no name micro servo's I got from Amazon. I will put al ink to them in the final installment of this series.

That was interesting. I only use my Arduino to run DCC-EX. Never tried to write code for it.

I have used them for a bunch of projects. Made videos for most. Speedometer, campfire simulator, mutliple structure lighting, and the Turntable controller I built uses one as well! Great little toys... Thanks for watching Fred.

Very cool. I did use a couple of IR sensors with Arduino connected to JMRI speedometer. I didn’t feel it was real accurate. I was getting different speeds on loco running at speed step 28. Not sure if it was loco motor or Arduino to JMRI interface. Gave up trying to speed match my old locos.

I actually have it installed now and it is working good. Just need to wire up the pushbuttons and dwarf signals to complete the last part of this series. Thanks again
