For the text scrolling part of the lesson, I had to install the ArduinoGraphics library using the Library Manager before it would work. I don't think Paul mentioned that. Also (I'm about 5 months behind Paul), the row 0 problem that Paul mentioned seems to be fixed, although setting it to row 1 centers the text better.

Writing to the top row "0" works for me on 1/16/2025. (In reference to scrolling text on the matrix.)

Ah, I used random(millis()) instead of randomSeed(millis())

@richardsstark9825 3 hours ago I thought your idea of starting the bouncing from a random row in the first column is an interesting idea. I was able to make it work in my program using this in the setup function: randomSeed(analogRead(0)); //I have no idea what this means or does y=random(0,7); // I'm using "y" for row in my program then each time you reset or restart, the bouncing starts at a different row.
