In this video I show you how to control a simple stepper motor using an Arduino. We use the 28BYJ-48 stepper motor, and the ULN2003 Stepper Motor Driver. We show you how to connect the project up, and then how to program it. We show how to control both the speed, direction, and position of the servo motor. We are using 4 push buttons so we can advance or reverse the motor in specific increments. Enjoy!

Great lesson Paul. I have a request/suggestion. Have a home function for the stepper position using a switch. Eliminates step errors when shut off if we're tracking position. Next let's make it work over wifi with a phone and computer app. Add function to display motor position. Finally do say 3 motors instead of one.

Either at the top or in the void loop. If you put it in setup it will create a local variable

Paul, how do you use technology to present your videos? it seems that you use Autodesk Sketchbook for your writing surface did you create your own graph paper or is it a template or photograph?

My studio software is Wirecast, which is a program you have to buy. OBS is free and does much of the same stuff. I posted a few videos on OBS on my channel. On the sketchpad, it is autodesk sketchpad running on a ipad. I just imported an image of graph paper as a picture, and that is the background.

If the frequency of the steps per second is in the audio range, it produces an audio tone. The tone frequency can be controlled by the speed of the motor by adjusting the RPM.
