I definitely agree with James that parenthood can take away your sense of fun probably because of the huge responsibilities(and in my case being a single parent) not saying there wasn’t fun times but an underlying heaviness tended to hover🙂

One of our tv acting greats. I still remember the episode of Millennium he was in.

Saw the clip about the scene that sent James to a dark place. Here's the thing, I believe... They are acting, so everyone knows it isn't real, but getting into character...and going through the motions with your body...it still feels real enough to an actor's body, which links to the metal aspect of it. It can be complex, but it can really make a person feel guilty or like they are the monster.

Just like when I did my senior project in high school that was the biggest challenges was to have confidence when you do your panal for your grade just a podcast❤ great point.

Some certainly are... It's an industry powered by belief and ego, and some just can't keep that in check. Every set should have an unfireable employee to counter-balance all the yes men. Someone that can walk up to anyone getting high off the smell of their own farts and prick that ego with a few well placed home truths to remind them they are just human like the rest of us.

But who would you hire to keep that person in check…. 😀

Yes, actors are entitled pricks but so are writers and directors and musicians and politicians and rich people and poor people. A lot of people are entitled pricks.

I agree, it depends on the individual. I have noticed that fame and glory can feed a childish ego.

All of the A listers are. Most of the ones I've met though seemed pretty cool though (Rosenbaum included) . Don't tell me what I should think or believe and we're good, talk about your work and roles; That's what we like.

im almost aftaid to watch this because James is one of my favorite actors, ive already written off more than half of the "celebrities"i liked for so long because of the crap they believe and try to push on us,lets see!!

Maybe stop deifying celebrities. Their people with thoughts and opinions and one or two of those thoughts and opinions aren't always going to align with yours.
