Yeah they’re bad people. This is a nice point of view but people who are addicted to drugs will fuck you over for absolutely nothing.

They obviously aren't talking about the kind of addicts that actively choose to hurt their family or abuse their children. There are numerous reasons why a person would decide to turn to drugs for comfort such as past trauma. Not everyone who is on them stays forever and some aren't jerks to their families in the process.
