I still wonder about the depth of history in the Americas, obviously we are continuously gathering more to the picture. I recently looked into the Olmecs and can see they certainly seemed to be a very diverse population. I was looking at some of the collection of Prof. Alexander von Wuthenau in his book, Unexpected Faces in Ancient America: The Historical Testimony of Pre-Columbian Artists, I found a copy available to read online. I was surprised to see that there are so many different types of people represented in the Olmec's artworks. So ancient global travel was definitely going on, differently from how most of us were taught. I constantly wonder, more so, about the mound builders throughout North America. How far back does their history really go? Who built Serpent Mound? Was it the Adena culture? Historians don't seem all that certain about it. Were there really giants found in royal like burials in some of the mounds? And what of all the lore and artifacts related to giants? To me the many, many, accounts seem very worthy of attention. It's still a huge mystery who may have built the megalithic foundations found mostly in Peru and Bolivia, I don't suspect it was the Inca, if it was, they lost that amazing skill at some point. What about Puma Punku? Mystery. Nazca? Mystery. What's with the all the cone head skulls in the Paracus museum? Some of them have features that are definitely not from cranial deformation, so what's that about? And in more recent history, and closer to your point, there are many artworks and accounts from pre-colonial and early colonial times depicting black African looking tribes in the Americas, both North and South, but true maybe more so in the South. There's also evidence of African goods that were traded with the Caribbean Island tribes. It would seem that just from the small bits and pieces that I have gleaned over the years, that the Americas, over a vast tapestry spanning many millennia, has had many different types of inhabitants, some seem to be old timers and some seem to be relatively new comers. So I wouldn't be at all surprised if a good number of people that look indistinguishable from modern day black Americans already were living on this continent and were thrown into the mix. Recently I've been watching videos on the "Paper Genocide" which is accounts of town hall officials changing the persons description in the town records often from black to white, or vice versa, or Indian to black, etc. I think there is good reason to suspect that a lot of history has been hidden from us. I think when it comes to the topic of black African looking people possibly already living in America before recent colonization, there are some people who are more credible with their sources than others. True, some of it seems very far fetched, but I am becoming more and more convinced, even of stuff that I had previously thought was far fetched. Kurimeo Ahau's channel has my attention recently, he can be hard to believe sometimes but other times very insightful with a source or a fact that is hard to ignore. Anyway, one thing is certain, stuff keeps getting dug up that subsequently changes our perception or pushes the timeline for the earliest inhabitants further and further back in time, for both the Americas as well as for the so-called Old World.

You spoke the absolute truth!! A lot of Black people worldwide hate being black, and they want to distance themselves from anything that has to do with Blackness. I would really like it if you would do a video that would dive in more concerning the issues of self hâte, inferiority complex, skin bleaching, etc.

I never believed that Black Americans were Native American- it just doesn’t ring true to me. But some African Black people can have straight hair- and will proudly tell you that they are black African. Example: Somali, Ethiopians. They are not West African, but they are Black African people.

Yes, some Blacks are indigenous to North and South America, some came in chains, some were Moorish, some came from Europe freemen, few came from Ireland, overall it’s complex. The true issue with BOTH sides of this discussion is the extremely binary thinking that doesn’t allow nuance. The misconceptions from both sides also comes from the loudest and wrong low iq people who go “ALL BLACKS ARE INDIANS” or “ALL BLACKS CAME IN SLAVE SHIPS”. It’s no different than thinking Blacks are 13% of the USA population for more than 7 decades.(We’re way more than that btw.) The truth is that history as we are told is mostly false, including a few sciences that people treat no different than religion. Once you swallow that pill, studying these topics becomes easier.

For example: To many non-Blacks, for you to even claim Blacks were integral to building and maintaining ancient Egypt, you are an “Afrocentrist” and they view you no different than you view “Pretendians”. They claim you hate yourself and don’t want to acknowledge your “true” African roots, but you claim you know better because you study up and do intense research that’s more than surface level. Does this sound familiar? It seems you’re engaging in the same exact talking points of those who passionately tell you Egypt was never Black.

Show me where on a map there location was? Because I can point out on a map where the Choctaw where. What was there language, how many... I have more evidence than "someone looked black" by a traveler to challenge a arab Egypt theory. People in India have black skin but did they have afros? The truth is most of you are ashamed to come from Africa being sold off like chickens. Run along son and put a shirt on. We smash white Phds over here. This ain't no KZbin scholarship.

I don’t use the word Black. I was taught to believe that I’m much more powerful than the color of my skin. My mom taught us history my mom remarried a man from Panama, and he thought he was better. My mother didn’t think either way and this was her second marriage. I could never understand why was Black people so cruel among themselves, even when white people were never around. My mom had so many history books in our home. A library for the reading. I remember asking my history teacher in high school questions she could never answer, and my questions were always about how she was teaching us history, which was a lie. Although I passed her class I felt she lied throughout the entire semester and I had asked my mom why and she said because you asked her questions white people want you to believe it one way but by us teaching you at home they have a problem with that my mom said to me when I was younger the biggest problem that Black people have in America is wanting to be segregated with white people when if we had worked together in America we would not be going through the things that we have been going through now blew my mind. I couldn’t understand it and here we are now in 2024 January 1 and it’s just horrible how we treat each other it really doesn’t matter how they treat us is how we treat us in each other i’ve never understood that why OK❤ Let us say we’ve been self taught to hate each other, look down upon each other, and always think less of ourselves now if they can come out of caves, and they can run you out and take from your land and manipulate your mind and walk around here with no education, and still manage to get the job and you’re smarter than now why can’t we see past their BS and leave them alone it has gotten down and up down and up when is it going to become better as people not just here in the land that they call America but all over ❤. You mentioned about the Asians you mentioned about the Mexicans let’s not forget the Puerto Ricans let’s not forget the people that is in Africa. Let’s not forget those people they hate each other too. The problem is we are left to believe that we are the only ones on earth that hate each other , because ours is more advertise and more looked upon based on media, and based on the books that we read and based on us putting our information out there, we have practically made social media famous in the most complicated part about that statement is we could’ve done the same all these people are here with this money could’ve did exactly the same even if somebody else created it first we still could’ve done it why not The word my mother used to say all the time not only our white people jealous of us and our power and want us to be feeling less than what we are but our own people want us to feel the same thing that’s our biggest problem, and by the way, my mother don’t like the white, she calls them strawberries And she don’t like to call Black people Black people either she called him people until they want to have a spitting contest black and white Asian Puerto Rican Mexican. The category is stupid Indian India, God created me to become what he created me to become a human being that’s who I am and I’m a part of humanity. There’s not a person out here in this earth no better than me and I’m not better than them. The categories were created a long time ago before I even put my feet on this earth, and not only were they created by white people. It was also created by Black people , people like to toss around slavery Black people have their own people in Africa as slaves, but the biggest different with them being a slave over there in Africa they treated them better they shelter fed them paid them, but when it was a desert discovery when white men didn’t like what they see is that we got the messes up when we got to make sure we mess it up every day that they exist on this earth and the problem with that they also mess themselves up too, that BLADE cuts both ways. Does a verse in the Bible I wish I can remember what chapter where God was disappointed because he created humans check that out.

Believe it or not too, Afros were over here in the tens of millions, thousands of years prior to the Asians and Spaniards migration peruod too. This was when their African features and wool texture was apparent. They turn slant eyed overtime due to the Asiatic era of the Mongoloids and Chinese, etc., but Hebrews say they wiped out up to 70-77M of us in the settlers indian war back then too. Hundreds of years prior to Columbus, the Moors and the Mali were active throughout the Americas too, ship travels through Atlantic, probably even through the Pacific. Our true African Hebrew history? That shit *HIDDEN.*

Thank you for this video but one thing we as true Africans dont do is blow out another race/culture's light to make ours shine brighter. That's something that w supremacists do to make themselves seem greater than what they really are. NA culture is just as bright as ours maybe even more so in different ways, we all have our gifts to contribute to humanity. And the Africans who died on the way here weren't weak. They were kidnapped and terrorized. This is an ancestral trauma not a weakness.

And when you say that NAs didn't do anything here in North America you are unintentionally justifying the colonists right to genocide them off their own land because colonists that believed Indigenous Americans were physically/intellectually inferior, the same way they saw us. North America and Canada were rife with mounds and structures the "intruders" destroyed. NAs have been here for tens of thousands of years why would they not build anything or have a writing system? That makes no sense at all. NAs did and still do have a culture. We have to be careful that we don't adopt any w colonists ideals. It's very toxic.

Fijians? They definitely Afros. Either through Native American blood or Australian blood. Either way, both parties hail outta East Africa, the Afro Asiatics. Believe it or not Natives are deep af today all about the Americas, especially throughout the Pacific Islands. More than they'll ever count. Today they are of the 12 Hebrew tribes, and MANY of them are of Latino features today, with straight or wool texture, but the rest are labeled Afro Americans, because of their Afro textures. The originators of this land. What you gotta realize is East Africans was simply the first Natives of the continent, still are. That's because they came from the continent as well as Israel.

That's non-sense bruh, you have whole islands full of Afrikan descendants who's Great Grand Parents survived those voyages; as a matter fact the Clotilda (the last known slave ship to come to America) was one of those voyages that came straight to the US from Afrika, and it happen to have QuestLove's trice Great Grandparents on it (they were on board together) this is part of the history of Afrika Town (Mobile, Alabama) on a personal photography tour, I've been there myself and walked the grave yard of our Ancestors.

Wait Billie, what lands are these??? Afrikan Americans are Afrikan with or without different foreign admixtures (what I mean by foreign admixture; is european, Filipinos, Chinese, and so on) but for the most part Afrikan Americans are Afrikan, the AA in America were brought to the US a little later than the ones in the Islands, and more split up, this is why you can still find 100% Afrikan people via DNA in the Islands.
@MedjayCommander
@MedjayCommander Жыл бұрын
And No; every AA in the America(s) is not West Afrikan either, which some green fools ( who don't know much about Afrikan History) would say; now are there some mixed with Native Americans that's without doubt, but there is a easy way to tell if they took a DNA test. Afrikan Americans will get no where being magical, and at the same time hating on your own origin, because I bet if Afrika got back on top, people wouldn't be caught dead without some type of Afrikan Print hanging off them somewhere.

There is a continent in the Atlantic and another in the pacific planes don't fly deep into those oceans they fly along the coasts to avoid it.
