You should be able to add it with the vercel domain to Google search console by using the verification in which you need to put the verification string in to the website header, so you don’t need to change DNS.

Nice video as always! In all your videos I get some good ideas. By the way, you can change the name of the subdomain in the setting/domains tab, just where you are in the 19:10, click on edit and put the name you want, it will be changed instantly. Cheers!
