Its nice to see cs pros testing aim trainers! Even nicer to see it being done the right way, with great taks and knowledge, not only basic tasks like gridshot !
@TheDraiken Жыл бұрын
The interesting thing is that, even if the improvement is only to the confidence you have in your aim, it's already effective. In other words, even if it's a placebo effect, the end result is the same: you play better. Having said that, I 100% believe this improves your reflexes and motions and that's transferable to the actual game.

My IGL who was a semi pro in CSGO and Valorant gave me a training regimen. Some of my training is on Kovaaks (15 Minutes) I use a benchmark and spreadsheet from Voltaic and do the Intermediate scenarios. I reach new high scores every single day. I also get 1k kills on deathmatch every day and do some other things. And I must say after doing this for about a week now, the improvement is very noticeable and I feel more confident in general.

Great video! I'll definitely try an aim trainer out. If possible I'd love for you to make a video on communication while in game. I'm currently in a team with friends where we recently started playing in a amateur league and since we've never earlier tried to play seriously my teammates com skills are really lacking during the round, not giving enough coms or sometimes too many coms. And something I've never heard discussed in a video, comming for teammates when dead. Everyone thinks the old "when ded dont talk" mentality but it is so useful to have a 3rd point of view of these things when youre so focused that you cannot communicate sufficiently on your own.
@STYKO Жыл бұрын
Neat idea, I will try to prepare some concept around this. "when ded dont talk" rule died long time ago, especially in professional scene. If you are dead, in many situations you want to increase your comms in order to help out your teammates, who focus more on their own POV.
@Derized_ Жыл бұрын
I feel like that's very situational and dependent on the person (experience of that person) giving those coms while they're dead. There's a lot of things that don't need to be said to a more experienced player, also telling an inexperienced player some things might be to much for them in the moment. Most experienced players will know what you might not notice or what might help you in the moment without pulling your attention away. Would be a good video, agreed.

Would like to see this go deeper. Ie the talks of sensitivity randomizer while practicing aim trainers or practicing with double/half your sens to train your finger/wrist/arm movements. Or maybe get a aim coach to review your practice and see how it goes and get insight from them on how to improve further, like mattyow or whoever.

Im only 3 mins into the video but it should be said anyone who wants to get into aim training and get the most out of it u shouldn’t do it before u play, aim training should fatigue u mentally and maybe even physically, u should do it after a day of playing some faceit games or something before bed . It’s like the gym, u don’t want to lift heavy straight away and just tire urself out, doing the routine after getting tired out from playing ur matches u will gain the most progress
@STYKO Жыл бұрын
You are right. I said it in the video that Aim Training is not the same as Warmup. I used it as a warmup and I saw benefits that I cover in the video. However, I can clearly see bigger potential of Aim Trainers in long sessions where you specifically practice aim. That is how I am going to use it mainly, moving forward.

Great Video, but how to find your aim weakness? :)
@STYKO Жыл бұрын
Mostly through watching my own replays. Personally, I found out about it when I analyzed in-game duels that I lost but I should be winning. Then I found stuff like I overflicked or underflicked many times when I had to adjust my aim to the left. Right side flicks were accurate. Another thing was that my tracking was off whenever I was losing duels against run&gun such as SMG or Tec9... Looking how your crosshair behaves in slowed down replays usually give you hints what to work on :)

Would you recommend this playlist to people who don’t have what’s considered to be pro level aim?
@STYKO Жыл бұрын
I’d recommend this playlist to players who have same weak spots in aiming as myself. So it’s hard to generalize. To answer your question, I think a lot of players with better score than myself weren’t pros, so it is definitely helpful and doable even if you’re not on pro level in aim.

@Kepitsecret Жыл бұрын
i@@STYKO i was thinking more in sense when hockey player would want to improve their shot power they should focus on their core and back more in the gym then just chest and biceps for example. Thats how i view aim labs for me, easy to focus on certain micro things as u mentioned. For me it was right flicks and timing my shots (used to shoot too early often) but you really do need the game mechanics, movement, game sense and so on still which is equally important.

Hi STYKO, any tips on how to learn spray patterns/improve recoil control?
@STYKO Жыл бұрын
Do various drills even on empty server to understand the spray pattern and memorize it. Then "Rush" mode on workshop map like CSGOHUB is a good place to start until you stop thinking about the pattern. It has to stop being something you actively think about, so it will require some hours of practice in various scenarios like workshop maps/deathmatch. I would say you should learn AK and M4s for the start. Then move onto Famas and Galil as well. map is here: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3070389038
