What do you think of these DYI "Corsi-Rosenthol boxes" and "Comparetto Cubes" you see all over KZbin? These are basically made from 4 or 5 furnace filters built into a box, then fitted onto the back of a window box fan. (Usually made using MERV-10-MERV-13 furnace filters) My interest in these, is that the huge fans can generate a lot of airflow volume, turning over the volume of a large room several times per hour. The filters are available virtually anywhere, and are NOT proprietary. With commercially made units, the filters are often hard to find, and very expensive when you do find them, though, they do filter much finer dust than furnace filters, unless you get HEPA filters, which are also quite expensive. I just think that with standard size filters, you can buy much more filter area for the same amount of money, than proprietary filters for commercially made purifiers.

Hi Vincent, thanks for the comment. We haven't tested these products yet, so we can't provide any further info at this time. However, we'll pass on your thoughts for consideration in future tests.

That looks to me like an MI H3. I have one and it is very good. Not cheap tho. It is certainly one of the Mi models. Built by Xiaomi in China who make high quality goods. I have been using their cell phones for years, fantastic value.
