When we first came to America it was an adjustment to adapt to the Mexican palate and spice. Those of you who don’t know Spanish cuisine isn’t exactly known for spiciness but after three decades in America I can surpass very hot in Sichuan hot pot. No surprise, guess Torres just has no training. I learned that if you go to a Hong Kong cuisine restaurant, and it says spicy on the menu, it’s not. (Szechuan cuisine is different of course, had my own special experience with Szechuan noodles in Hong Kong, the numbness is weird.)
