Honestly, people hate Ananya only for being a star kid. Tara was same level of actress as ananya if not worse in soty 2. After that Tara got Ek Villain 2 or whatever but it was a disaster, she got tadap and apoorva also heropanti 2 but except apoorva and tadap, she acted horribly. Meanwhile Ananya actually showed improvements in Pati, Patni Aur Woh, Gehraiyan (even if it was a flop), and recently ananya imrpoved far more than tara in films like Dream Girl 2, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and even in call me bae. So acting wise they both started same but ananya just improved while tara did too but ended up choosing bad scripts like heropanti 2

Tara should try harder honestly. She doesn't seem that ambitious to me. She just sits at home listening to music and cooking etc. Doesn't seem like she cares much for her acting career. She should hustle a little more if she wants better opportunities. Outsiders like Kriti and Tara should understand that opportunities aren't just going to come to them served on a silver platter. They have to fight for those opportunities. They have to be ruthless otherwise the nepo babies will steal all the roles. Ananya is actually quite sharp and understands how the business works.
