I can't wait to see a rider win a race wearing one of those slick rain jackets! Good job Shoddy! THANKS STEVE!

I have never found a jacket for rain and cold where I don’t get drenched from my sweat.

To get an overview what a single rider gets, check out Harry Sweeny's vlog on unpacking his new EF kit, it's mental 😂

Gabba and especially Perfetto (lighter Gore-Tex Windstopper) changed how all the competitive cyclists in my area dressed for cold. Pretty much hardly see “winter” gear anymore. I am also a huge fan of the much-overlooked “standard” mid-weight Castelli bibs and jerseys, which I end up wearing most of the time, leaving Perfetto for the near zero and even below. Just pair with some sleeves and tights/legs and some shoe covers and I’m good-to-go. Brilliant stuff. Of course Castelli sizes are ridiculously small. I’m standard male size (6-0, 180) albeit large for a cyclist, and I take XXL bottoms and XL tops, but so it goes.

Looks very similar to Gore ShakeDry fabric. I have a Castelli ShakeDry jacket because it was a better fit for me than the Gore own brand one. It’s been brilliant. Lightweight, totally water and wind proof and it keeps me warm.

Extraordinario canal, se preocupan de todos los detalles Sobre todo los que a los ciclistas mortales nos interesa saber de los profesionales Felicidades chicos y muchas gracias

Gabba / Perfetto all Ive worn in the winter for many years now. I’d imagine a lot of these brands have taken a hit on winter clothing due to indoor training.

Show a pic of castelli headquarters. Where are clothes made please?

Looking at the majority of my castelli stuff it's either Romania or Bosnia & Herzegovina though my eye wateringly expensive castelli gore tex jacket was made in China.

If its actually faster, they need to design wrinkes throught their regular skinsuit😂
@RicardoRocha-lg1xo9 ай бұрын
indeed... with all those wrinkles I just don't buy the aero claims. I'd totally wear one, but not for the speed, rather for the waterproofness
@markrushton15169 ай бұрын
is this made by Gore for Castelli? What do we guess - £400?
@justinkase87169 ай бұрын
I’ll take one! 😊

Very wrinkly - the idea that it is fast in a wind tunnel seems to go against the idea that skins suits need to be tight fitting and crease free

Hi Shoddy! There seems to be no women's version of the Gabba R. Do you know if one is coming?

Hi! It was not so easy to get as much fabric as we would like to have for our initial production but we didn't want to wait making another milestone product available to everyone. With the quantities for the Soudal Quick-Step Team we will only have very limited availability even for men's this spring. A bigger production run including the long sleeve version for Women will be available with our Fall/Winter collection around September.

Bring out the Gimp ffs. My old long and short sleeve Gabbas are still doing fine 10+ years on. Few people watching this are averaging 40km/h on a ride.

So if i spend all my money on AERO EVERYTHING i shouldnt have to pedal the bike anymore right?? RIGHT?? Marketing pish as usual from all these brands, i see right through it.

The new Gabba R Looks like bondage gear not feeling that one 😂 I'll leave that for the racer's impressive fabric technology though.
