Why does everyone push the narrative that “Smart has an ego & he forced it taking the big shots” As a long time Celtic fan, I can remember pretty much every big shot he’s taken, at least in recent times, and I gotta say I never really had a problem with it 🤷‍♂️ and if you did, blame the coaching. What you see on the floor, especially in those huge moments late in close games, is a direct result of the head coach and his staff

As much as I love RWIII & think Brogdon was a really good player, it's always followed by "When healthy." Jrue is a better overall player. Problem is I don't like the 3 & D philosophy because when tired, you lose the legs and that 3 doesn't fall. It's too streaky. I'd like to see a little more balance and get some inside help to be a threat to get a few buckets and especially help with rebounding. We'll see what happens. If you trade Pritchard, now you need a third guard, and serviceable guards are much tougher to come by. I think Gabriel is good enough to be a third stringer at his position. We can't play the "well what if Porzingis gets hurt?" game here, cause it doesn't matter who your bigs are at that point.

In the regular season, jrue, white and point-JT is more than enough to handle pg duties. Svi tbh should be more than enough for the "3rd PG". Celts have the best top six in the league. I think the balance is amazing; I don't think whatshisface the coach can manage it - thank god Sam Cassell is on the bench with him. We can finally watch some basketball again instead of a exclusive three ball. They can pound the dog shit out of everyone with a complete inside-out game and defensive suffocation. Hope Pritchard and Hauser can provide a little punch. I don't know anything about Banton, Brisette, Queta, Stevens and Svi. We will need some defense from the bench.... Nobody is going to miss RW III after watching a Tatum, Porzingas, and Horford front court. There will be plenty of games where Tatum runs the 4 spot. The Celtics should beat up 90% of the league and they should be circling their dates with Milwaukee and Denver. Those two teams plus Miami and Memphis and Philly and Cleveland should be their only competition. I just glanced at their schedule. If they don't start the season 16-0 then there is a little problem.

If it ain’t broke you don’t fix it. They were there in 21-22. Instead of changing the team that went to the finals…they should have fired the woman that had sex with the coach and kept the coach. Joe Mazzula is as clueless as Joe Biden. The team did not need to change, instead they could have improved within themselves. The leadership is what needs a shakeup. In the end both the bucks and the celts are just pushing it around… As for Giannis, who I thought had character, he should be great full that he even has a chip, and he should be looking in the mirror after that laughable loss to the Heat.

Jrue plays a lot of iso ball and is slow in making PG decisions. Boston is a faster team than he was used to playing for. He was too slow for Giannis - it was always a point of frustration and Giannis had to demand the ball. Jrue is also ball dominant - I wonder how that will work with Tatum & Jaylen who also like to run the offense, especially now that Smart is gone. There's nobody there to give them leadership and keep them in line. Boston and their fans are just looking at the numbers on the paper...chemistry is going to be big issue.

Porzingas will not be a good defender, I watched him try to guard Giannis, he is terrible.

I think felger has fallen off. He’s like 100, trade him for someone who isn’t as ego driven. I’m so tired of listening to him. He’s like grant williams, never shuts up and says stupid ish
