Are cheap motorcycle highway pegs good??? 🧐

What I did when installing the same highway pegs, after applying anti-seize to the peg threads, I carefully drilled a whole through them into the crash bar, then I inserted a stainless steel rivet in each foot peg, which stop all and any movement.

I've tried these pegs, they are junk, don't waist your time or money. As for drilling holes in your crashbars, no thanks, just creating a weak spot and entry point for rust.... but thanks to the guy for making the video.

I put pegs on lower bars and they are good. $30 stainless steel pegs.

EMGO makes all of their stuff. If anything is similar then those are copies. It's possible EMGO makes things for other companies though

Moto Drang I’m going to order the Universal Highway pegs they (ADVDesigns) offer. I’d like to get my hands on a pair to see how big they are and if they’ll be worth the premium price. I’ll keep you posted!

is there any reason you mounted it so the U was facing up instead of down? does it matter which way you install it? I think it looks cleaner with the smooth side on top like an upside down U

They’ve been pretty good for me but there is some corrosion, tells me the coating process for the metal is a bit questionable but for the price, they are ok 👍
