The biggest issue with this team under Poch is that we play to the level of our competition no matter what. If we play city we will play at their level. If we play a national league side we will bring it all the way down to their level. 10 man Burnley….and so on

Spot on, but that happens to a lot of teams. Even City and Arsenal. It is a LONG, grueling season and players know what teams they’re “supposed” to walk over and they relax. It’s the rare player who wants to pulverize EVERY opponent.

We also often have no control of the game, with or without possession. It always feels like ping-pong I score you score game. Seems like a nice guy, but honestly we wouldn't lose much even if we sack him. Specially when he costs Ancelotti level money. the difference between Gusto and Reese is that one loves Chelsea more than the other which would affect us because in a couple years when the Real and Barca comes knocking he's going to leave while Reese necessarily wouldn't necessarily go! And then again we can just play both of them one LB one RB and we save money having to fill that position.

i am 61 year old runner who trains for Marathons . 90 % of injures are self inflicted . Ex , not enough rest , over training , too much speed work so on . Chelsea players mainly have similar hurts ,hamstring , knee .Clearly the training program is flawed. Its not complicated do players or staff not keep training logs . With so many players hurt with same injuries shouldnt be that hard to find cause.

Fair take Yan. I personally had come to terms with idea of Jose as interim after defeat to Wolves, since we had a final to play. I would still take it, two wins in FA Cup gives us a trophy and Europa. Not feeling any optimistic with Pochettino in charge. If we're talking summer, I would preferably have Tuchel back for few reasons. He brings the fan-manager harmony back a bit like Jose, but more importantly he gives us a more better gauge of the new players. Remember Tuchel never had this group. So if we're still flailing mid table with him, then it would be evident the new players are certainly not there. Because right now it feels like a blur as to where exactly we can improve most. We won't be losing anything akin to Pep or Klopp if we sack Pochettino, he's 52 and hardly won anything. So it's a risk I feel we can afford to take. Having said all that though, I don't think the board would hire Tuchel back. 😂 As for Reece, I think the balance we have currently with him as starter when fit with Gusto as competition and Gilchrist backup is perfect. I wouldn't sell unless we're really sure the injury has massively affected his game(hopefully not).

Watch people try and rationalise selling Reece(if true) like what has been done/still being done with other players that should not have been sold. People forget he has had the surgery so their should be increased optimism he will stay fit when he finally returns. CBs in the squad: disasi (45m), fofana (70m), badiashile (40m), Levi colwill, chalobah, Thiago Silva.... consistently available to play: disasi (5.5-6/10 avg performance). Midfielders in the squad: caicedo (120m), Enzo (100m), lavia (60m), ugochukwu (22m), Gallagher. Available to play: Enzo (5/10 avg performance), caicedo (6/10) and Gallagher (6.5/10). So, on paper it looks like poch has options but in reality he's had to pick players with bang average form because they are the only ones available.

I've been right with Yan on supporting Poch, but im done. You can't draw with a 10 man Burnley spotting you a goal at home. Man for man we should be fighting for top 4, not top half, even with the injuries. I don't have the managerial answer, but we need a clear philosophy. Right now, it's just 11 guys that look like they are playing a pickup game. No style, no cohesion, no communication, confusion on marking during set pieces, etc.

In my opinion, instead of selling Reece, if the owners can shell out a combined £300m+ on two players for the project which seems not to be working now. I suggest they move on/cancel Sterling’s contract (he isn’t adding anything but demoralising the team as a senior player). Secondly make a good call and appoint a good tactician and take points deductions on the chin. With a squad whose morale is high and with a good coach, Chelsea can come out stronger next season. I don’t support Chelsea selling Reece because he will be injury free as soon as he leaves EPL and probably joins a better organised team than Chelsea tbh.

Said this many times, understand the pushback, but to move forward we need to sell the twin "best backs in the league" of James /Chilwell, not only because the meme has never been true (James from injury and poor form for 4-5 games after returning, and Chilwell's lacking buildup passing/movement skills the modern game requires) but above all the complete lack of leadership on the pitch expected from the dual captaincy (James' red card, Chilwell's spat with Liverpool youngsters, etc.). Sad truth is the owners have started a 3-4 year project, not a two year project, and neither man, nor Gallagher, will afford any higher table placement over that period. I still think the biggest problem is conceding too many goals and I blame the young/inexperienced team and injuries. We need to build an established and organised back 4 that can work with a CDM (we're lacking a Matic/Kante/Makelele?), but it isnt going to happen when we change the back 4 every week, for whatever reason. We may still be profligate in front of goal, but at least we're scoring and have excellent attacking options. Scoring 2 yesterday should have been enough. Would obviously be a shame to lose Gallagher and James, but we would manage.

It’s not the medical department. Look at Pulisic and RLC. The problem is we have too many players fighting for too few positions. They are overworking their bodies in training, to EARN a spot, and getting injured as a result. Pulisic and RLC know they will start so they can manage their bodies, during training, to maximize their longevity. The locked in players we do have are injury free. Enzo, Palmer and causedio.

No other manager had this group apart from Pochettino, so we don't truly know. The 'experience' he asks for were sat on bench (Silva, Sterling) against Burnley. I could make an equal case for David Moyes in terms of elevating teams, but we shouldn't hire him. Give time to the right guy, no one is against that. But Pochettino has shown very less that he's that. Most fans were okay with Tuchel getting time. He's free. The current young team will get better no matter who's in charge, they key is getting a manager who helps boost that. Pochettino has seemingly hindered them more than help if we're judging full season.

@@_.13_ I understand your sentiment, but we've got to be rational. Pep and Klopp had domestic cup trophy and multiple league titles and before they got the backing. Pochettino is nothing close. Even Arteta won an FA Cup within 6 months and had more of a connection to Arsenal than Pochettino to us. And all of them sacked decent to good managers before it (Emery finished 5th with Arsenal and was in Europa final, Rodgers finished 2nd with Liverpool, Pellegrini won the league with City). Pochettino has had time elsewhere, he won nothing 5+ years with Spurs and had the worst winning percentage at PSG in last 11 years with Messi in his team. So I don't see many rational points backing him. Also, Tuchel, Potter, Lampard all three didn't have the whole of current group(for example Palmer and Gusto who've been standouts only arrived last summer). They've mostly only been under Pochettino. So we truly won't know unless we try.

Chelsea must bring back lukaku 🙏 and readjust our back line, and get people out of injuries. A team with a front line of Mudryk, Palmer, Nkunku, Lukaku. And a midfield of Enzo, Caicedo would destroy a lot of teams right now. Not to mention, the deliveries Gusto puts in 🔥🔥 Lukaku would be contending for goal scorer of the season. Plus, the speed of Mudryk on the far side would suit lukaku. Enzo's ability to put balls over for a natural stricker like lukaku who has physicality of holding up play with ease using his strength and pace and evidently good technique inside the box to put the ball right at the right spaces🔥👌.....like it or not lukaku suit's us way more than any striker out there coz his nothing short of what haaland can do or better yet lukaku might be even more due to his ability of handling the ball on his feet.😁 Either way, lukaku just needs to stay away from media and near opposition boxes, and we all would be happy 🤞
