I wouldn't call it an obsession. It looks like a hobby to me, kinda favorite sport for those fans - to play with personal life of the celebrities. The cause of their behavior is not love for their idols. Rather they enjoy being able to ruin people's lives with impunity. The moment their idol was caught going astray (even in the small way) they will attack him/her fiercely and happily.

The toxicity of obsessed and possessive fans are truly disturbing. The industry should take strict measures to stop their unruly and damaging behaviour. They think they own their idols and are viciously wanting to destroy other celebrities who they think are threats to their idols. Absolute disgrace!

The root cause is fans feel entitled and as if they own these celebrities..Chinese Obssesive deranged so called fans are responsible for there obssesive behavior not the celebrities... as a carat ,what they did to joshua was so so creepy and disgusting and the bizaree. fanfictions ruined everything to the extent xiao zhang(especially him) and wang yibo went through alot of emotional turmoil..its damaging...the obsessive fans are the problem ... this applies to all fans from all countries to be honest

I totally agree that fans are too obsessed with the actors and actresses. Controls need to be put in place by the government to protect the victims. It's easy to say sue the violators, but it takes money and time to do it. Celebrities are people who are trying to make a living doing what they love to do the best they can. Bloggers also need to take responsibility for what they report and how they report stories. Bloggers can also ruin people's careers and lives.

Huang Junjie recent controversy can be resolve so easily by taking legal actions and clear his name, but 3years passed and he has done nothing. Dilreba fans boycott him before, Now Cheng Yi fans and I wouldn't be surprised if in the future, other fandoms do the same

The biggest excuse for obsessive fans is they believe their idol’s destiny totally depends on them (the fans) so therefore they are very much the “boss”. I remember back in the 90s most celebrities never dared to disclose their romantic life because their fans threatened to kill themselves if they saw their idol get married! 😱. But I have seen the younger generation of celebrities be more daring, per say, to disobey the norm that fans expect from them as far as their romantic and personal lives. Many have been getting married younger, even at their prime without the fear of losing fans.. But of course many get a divorce right after a year or so!!😂. But at least it’s showing a trend that celebrities are acting more for their own happiness and personal will! 👌

АОЗ планировали заблокировать, потому что платформа игнорировала требование о соблюдении законодательства Китая. За нарушение закона, а не из за жалоб чьих то там фанатов. Фанаты это в введении комитета по кинематографии. А вот закрытие такой платформы относится к другому ведомству.

I think it was wrong of wyb's fans to leave fake reviews but it's no secret that he's getting fake paid low reviews (bots) from antis. There were repetitive word for word 1 star reviews 😏. I don't trust any reviews (like douban). I trust more the sites that show someone paid to watch something.

Actors, actresses, singers, etc are. people doing jobs. Yes, they are talented and we love watching their shows and movies, but they have the right to do their jobs without being constantly under a magnifying glass. It is pathetic that “fan’s” behavior is supposed to be controlled by any entertainer. It is also ridiculous that social media creates fake drama about them for views. Xiao Zhan was the victim of the fan fiction fiasco, yet the fan war almost destroyed his career; and did destroy his relationship with many in the entertainment industry, who threw him to the wolves so fans wouldn’t attack them. Even today, fake stories are released to stir up controversy and the haters keep on hating. He survived and proved himself to be a top actor, model, spokesperson, and singer. Buying and dumping product for any reason is shameful, in any country, for any reason. How many people could that milk have benefited?

Im feel happy that Wang Yibo agency take legal action Immediately so can avoid ruining his reputatio. One thing surprise me is Huang Junjie. Honestly i just know him in The Spirealm. And im looking for his drama but i cant find any in streaming platform like Viki and iqiyi and knowing this gosssh i feel so bad for him.
