Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God." - Romans 2:29, NIV "If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise." - Galatians 3:29, NIV Romans 11 makes it clear that the ethnic Israel will be saved in the end and the promises to them fulfilled, but only after they repent. According to Jesus, the Israelites who reject him are no children of Abraham but slaves of sin and children of the devil (John 8:31-44).

Yes and also Zech 13 it is written, In the whole land," declares the Great I Am, "two-thirds will be struck down and, per ish; yet one-third will be left in it. This third I will bring into the mire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, `They are my people,' and they will say, `This is our Great I Am.'" Not all of, is real, will be saved only 1/3. As followers of the Son of the Great I Am, we are called to love and pray for enemies, not go along with those that go and I< ill in a blind frenzy so many of, children and babies, people who have nothing to do with what went on before. Romans 11 tells us that the remnant exists all through history, not at one time at the end. It is also illogical, for God does not favour people according to what era they live in, nor do people choose God because they live in a certain era. Moreover, God saves people on an individual basis, not a national basis. So you'll need to do a bit more study and thinking. You began well with your quoting of Rom 2:29 and Gal 3:29, but then ruined it with your misunderstanding of Rom 11.

If you are a Jew, then you should be appalled at the way the Apartheid state of Israel is killing the Palestinians. Yes, Israel lost about 1200 people on October the 7th, but more than 30,000 have been killed or wounded in Gaza with the support and complicity of the American government.

For over 70 years the various Israeli governments have been brutally suppressing the rights of the Palestinians, systematically taking their land, forcing them into an open air prison, denying them food, water and medicine, and now, even killing the U.N. aid workers sent to help them.

Romans 11:28 As regards the gospel they are enemies of God, for your sake; but as regards election they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. We have no business with them, leave them be and hope they leave us be is the biblical answer to the Jews and their influence and power over us. All we can do is hope they come to Christ and stop the 2000 year old history of persecution they have instigated on Christians. The catholic answer of exiling them from Christian nations seems to be the most ethical and effective method used this far.

Jews were chosen to bring forth the Messiah, a feat which they fulfilled. Only those who accept Christ can now be called "God's people," because how could you simultaneously claim to be of God while rejecting Him? God did not abandon the Jews. If they choose to deny Christ, it is they who have abandoned Him.

The church is now the seed/heirs to the Abrahamic promise. Galatians 3:7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. Galatians 3:9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ. Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Last Spring a video was produced at a church in Gaza City that was built over 800 years ago. The members of that congregation were celebrating Palm Sunday. There is another video on KZbin featuring the pastor of Gaza Baptist Church, who was sharing the Gospel of Christ with the people of Gaza. Why have these people been ignored by most Christians in the U.S. ? Who bombed the King David Hotel during 1946, which killed 91 people? Seventeen of those murdered were Orthodox Jews. How was the man who planned the bombing punished for the murder of 91 people? New Covenant Whole Gospel: Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8, 3:16? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. I’m a aboriginal Christian man ! I am a biblical believer, like MacArthur I believe in apologetics, biblical based standards and that God’s word is the basis of our lives, our lives and faith ! Because of Jewish beliefs, Christianity exists because of the Jewish faith, everyone who founded Christianity are Jewish and Jesus ( Yeshau) is Jewish ! They never had the New Testament, 2/3 of the New Testament is from the Old Testament and their faith was what Christianity is based upon except that God is our salvation and sadly they rebel against God and they still are his children ! Like everyone else in the world they have to accept God’s gift of salvation or will be judged because there’s no exception ! God is there and our creator, he has made us in his image and we are required to be obedient , that’s why no one can enter God’s presence without being perfect, sinless and acknowledging that he is the all powerful, all knowing and all the reason that life exists ! I support Israel’s right to existence and sovereignty. I do deplore the loss of innocent lives on either side, but any nation has the right to survival and defense. The Palestine peoples have broken at least five peace treaties in the past so how can one trust them? Sadly the most vulnerable suffer the worse. The Church has not replaced Israel, it is the proper extension of it. The Disciples still went up to the Temple to pray and still kept their synagogues, while using both Old Testament and New Testament texts as they became available. Pastor John M. Is correct on this issue. Israel and the Jewish people will always shall a missionary task of presenting God to the world. In this we Christians also share. Israel’s Messiah is our Christ and in time ‘all’ will recognize and affirm these true.

Several years ago the current pope basically came out and said this. He said the Catholic Church would no longer send missionaries to Israel because the Jews will be saved. I have been a covenant theologian for decades, and this is simply not true. Israel is the OT church of God, and believers in Jesus are the NT church of God (Jew and Gentile, Rom 11, grafted into the same olive root, hence not a different sort of gathering, but the covenant people of God). I have never read a single covenant theologian who says the church replaces Israel. Supercessionism is part of what drove Nazi ideology, that since the church 'replaces' Israel, anti semitism is justified. You absolutely have to distinguish supercessionism from covenant theology. The church lives from Israel's fulfilled hope. Paul's conversion was not him joining a new religion, but he saw his unbelieving people has having abandoned their own hope and scriptures. @@PreachingforGodsGlory

Genesis 12 also includes the Children of Ishmael and the children of Esau. Why do you think Serah did not give birth to Isaac until Ishmael was born? Simply, God did not want Israel to be the only son of Abraham; this could have prevented the Israelites from being arrogant. It helped but not solved the problem, I think.

Are Christians obligated to Support Israel? Our sole true obligation is to love God Himself in gratitude for mercy He has given us at great Personal cost, thanking Him in all things - all things He brings into our lives whether we are happy about them or not. You don't have like it to say thank you in faith to Him for how He turns it to His plan and your good. But what does it mean to "love" God in the context of the above? It means that if we love God, we will love the things which He loves and He loves Israel. The obligation is one then of loving Him and doing what He brings to mind which please Him, including honoring His choice to love Israel. Think about it and come to your own conclusions as informed by His Word and Love.

There are some people that teach a different salvation for the Jews. They are not folks that I would call mainline Orthodox Christians. It's folks like the Hagees or maybe Swaggert maybe. And to be fair it's a reasonable question for someone new in the faith. But you can't have the Bible as your authority and come up with anything other than salvation by grace alone through faith alone.

If someone's faith isn't supported by them living by God's commandments, that person's faith is worthless and dead. That's what God's apostle says.

It’s not possible, by definition, to be a reformed dispensationslist. You may share the reformed understanding of my doctrines, but to be reformed is to hold to covenant theology which is a different approached to understanding scripture, as a whole, than dispensational theology.

It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church. Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology. A true Jew is one who is circumcized of his or her heart before God, not solely in a ceremonial way. Those who are of the seed of Abraham, made righteous by their faith and circumcized from their hearts, are the true Israel of God. When the Apostle Paul stated in Romans 11, "...until the fullness of the Gentiles has come; and so all Israel will be saved," this must be understood in context with what a true Jew is in God's sight. Followers of Christ are not called to support any earthly nation in their resistance of the Truth; we are called to preach the Gospel to all people, making disciples of all nations. If our message is rejected by earthly nations, we are not obligated to support them in their rejection.

Genesis 12 says nothing about blessing or cursing Israel. It is God talking to Abram and talking about blessing him or cursing him, if you read it carefully. I mean you put the verses up on the screen and read them. He said I will make you a great nation. The you is Abram. If I am not mistaken.

Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context... There is no Plan B of salvation outside of the New Covenant Church in this passage. Plan A is found in verses 23 and 24. In Romans 1:16 Paul said the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews. This time period can be found in Matt. 10:5-7, and Acts 10:36-38, and Gal. 1:14-18. Many try to claim God never gave the Jews a chance to accept Christ, so there must be some Plan B of salvation before or during the Second Coming of Christ. Romans 1:16 proves they are wrong, since Paul said the Gospel went "first" to the Jews. Many ignore the fact that Peter addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", and as "men of Israel", and as "all the house of Israel" on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later. This passage proves Paul was right about the Gospel being taken "first" to the Jews. Were all of the Israelites "partially" hardened in Romans 11, or were part hardened and another part were not hardened? The answer is found in the "remnant" of Romans 11:5. Paul reveals two different groups of Israelites in Romans 9:6-8. There is an Israel of the promise, and an Israel of the flesh. This is part of the context of Romans 11. Paul speaks about the "remnant" of Israel in Romans 9:27. This is also part of the context of Romans 11. Paul starts Romans 11 with two different groups of Israelites. In verse one Paul reveals he is still an Israelite, even after his conversion. Then Paul refers to two different groups of Israelites during the time of Elijah. There were the Baal worshippers, and there was the faithful "remnant". In verse five Paul says there is also a faithful "remnant" of Israelites during his time. This must be the Israelites who have accepted Christ, as on the Day of Pentecost. Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles grafted together into the same tree. The unbelieving Israelites have been broken off but can be grafted back in through faith in Christ in verses 23-24. Verse 26 is the problem for many modern Christians. What does the verse actually say, and how is it changed by many in the modern Church. I have heard two of our nations famous preachers say the following. "And then all Israel will be saved..." I have heard another say the following. "And all Israel will be saved..." What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say? Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing. Some have changed the word from "so" to "then", in order to change the meaning of the verse. How will all of the "remnant" of Israel from Romans 9:27 be saved? The answer is found in the verses that precede verse 26 and are found below. Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? Paul quoted from the OT in referring to the Deliverer coming out of Sion to pay for sin. Did this happen at Calvary, or will Jesus die again for His people in the future? Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. Verse 28 can only be understood by looking at how Paul started the passage. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith. Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews.

Support the Concept of The Jewish Chosen People and Nation until the end with the caveat that God will then Judge all and Jesus must be considered the only way until Salvation. No exceptions which necessarily means that only those Jews who accept Jesus as Lord will be saved.

Why would you tell them that if they're going to be automatically saved when they don't need to believe? I think this belief has kept people from witnessing to J00s. In fact, as an Independent Baptist since 1982, I have been shocked at how little people have done to win J00s to the Lord. You still must witness to these people if for no other reason than to make their lives less miserable, as those of us who are saved know life is more beautiful as a Christian. Can someone explain why when quoting Gen 12:1-3, the word 'you' as God speaks to Abram, is replaced by people with 'seed of Abraham', 'descendants of Abraham' or 'Israel' when none of those words are there? McArthur blatantly misquotes saying 'If you bless the seed of Abram, you're blessed'. That is not what is written. Please explain.

I went to a dispensation bible college, a little DTS, but we were always taught that salvation was through Christ and Christ alone. I side with JM on this one. He is the best teacher I’m aware of.

I love MacArthur. I was born again by power of the Holy Spirit through John’s preaching… That being said. Scripture is clear…church history is clear….There is one people of God…and it’s the Church.

Some teaches that israel will be saved collectively after tribulation and rapture of the church,but, there were jews christians who will be in the rapture like Nicodimus and Joseph who buried the body of Jesus. Therefore there are two distinct plans. Right now there are jewish christians who are born again and jews who keep in rejecting the Messiah Jesus. Saved by faith. At the judgement day faith in Christ that resulted in repentance is the only scale. There is no OTHER NAME given whereby men will be saved. So whether jew or gentiles need to have same faith to Jesus Christ. Not two way salvation. Otherwise God reserved the jews for their salvation and Jesus should only preached to the gentiles. But we knew it's not. Why because theres only one way and that John 14:6.

Christ taught us to love and protect the weak. Christ was crucified by the same religious zealots that are killing children today. Christ said that anyone who harms a child, will be punished. A preacher that supports Israel, supports Satan. Don't be fooled, the devil is devious, cunning and a horrible liar. Seek truth and guidance in the teachings of Christ, the new law. Any words in the old testament that contradicts Christ's teaching is null and void. LOVE is the key.

As a Christian who believes that my loyalty is only to Christ I find your reasoning to be blasphemous to say the least. Both peoples have a right to live. Palestinians are not cockroaches actually. I have Christian friends who have been bombed in Gaza
