You rock Becky! I could very much relate to this topic because I've been guilty of misjudging several people through my own subjective understanding and been on the receiving end of being wrongly judged by others. It's important to remember that we have blindspots, indicating we don't know everything which goes on. EDIT*******Being omnicient is an ability unique to God, therefore, we are obligated to trust his judgements, not ours.

This really helped me. I’ve fought with my family over this for years and never heard an outside source talk about this. Family always quotes “don’t judge lest you be judged” and then I just watch them do evil. I’m glad God gave me this video, it’s reinforced what I already believed

I think of Jude 22 where we are supposed to be "patient with those who doubt/waver." While we're called to do that, we are to be witnesses to our fellow brothers hearts also, Matthew 18:15-20 strikes at that. If we see a brother hardening their heart toward Christ in sin we confront them and expect the Holy Spirit to bring to light the severity of their trespass. So much of the "don't judge me" culture comes from a total lack of appreciation and lack of awe for the Holy Spirit's power to sanctify and intercede for us. Praise God we have been given the Helper to aid us in life. I appreciate the video

I didn't immediately find my true path that night, but I did walk away intrigued by it and also by your testimony that followed. Its a similar story to mine. Thank you so much and God bless you. I hope that you reach many many others. ❤

Just sharing out of love, but judgement is fine as long as it’s done to help one another with whatever sin we are battling. Contrary to popular belief, there is no once saved always saved.The Messiah even said we can judge righteously. I’ll leave the scriptures below. Be blessed ! John 7:24 “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” 1 Corinthians 6:12 Do you not now that the saints will judge the world. Proverbs 4:5 Get wisdom; develop good judgement. Not helping our brothers or sisters that are in sin allows them to think that they are in good standing with the Most High when in actuality their souls are in danger of hell. We can’t be lukewarm. 1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, Galatians 5: 19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Revalation 3:16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither [a]cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

Curiously enough this video gets my memory back to comments I made previously and the replies I got (loved that talk). Well, I do appreciate your clarifications about this topic. Yes, to point out sins to other people is the hardest part. I think it all comes down to the relationship you have with that person. Personally I’d feel very uncomfortable using the “I noticed that you…” formula. That would seem too “finger pointing” if I tried to use it. I’d rather try to take it a little wider than that but of course that also depends on our sensitivity.

Judge righteously 🔥 Becky could you do a video on pride too? This is one of those sins that sometimes everyone overlooks and isn’t obvious at times. No one doesn’t really notice it at times; and apparently according to my studies and research, pride occurred in heaven unfortunately because of the devil and came even before the fall of man and etc so it’s pretty deep. I certainly still don’t know a lot but I’m learning about its origins and etc as I’m still a newbie Christian but would like to see your views and explanation on it too. I believe this one topic is a really important one to cover and crucial knowledge for everyone to keep in mind; perhaps you have already planned for a later video I bet eventually. Anyhow have a great day, Becky!

Pride is the mother of all vices, just as humility is the mother of all virtues. For the daughters of pride are lust for pleasure, lust for honour, and lust for victory, and from these tree are begotten all passions and desires (including judging and accusing others, as Adam did to Eve and Eve to the Serpent)... There's very good reason why Jesus and His Apostles and their successors criticized and warned about pride and hypocrisy so much. Pride is also basically about self-deception, because it believes that it has rights it doesn't really have, and that it is something that it is not.

After COVID ended I went back to the church we as a family attended, and I went alone as my wife was hurt by decisions the leadership made towards us. After service I was approached by an elder who had known me for 10 years and he asked me where my family was. The answer I gave to the question was that I didn’t know. Then I was asked if she had left me or something but I said it didn’t matter, and I was going to leave. The next week, on the basis of my avoiding those questions alone, I was denied communion by that same elder. The leadership was only too happy to set up a meeting afterward, so they could explain to me why what the elder did was the right call. I experienced firsthand why my wife declined to return to that church, and I stopped going there as well.

We're not wise enough to know the reasons why someone may be exhibiting behavior that may look controversial on the surface, so even when judging the quality of another person's behavior & choices, we have to take into consideration that they may have a good reason that's simply unknown to us, despite how controversial their actions look before any explanation is offered. This humility allows us the patient space to judge charitably, with God's Love, allowing that this person's well-being in God's eyes is the most important priority, and making sure that's our priority in how we judge the quality of their choices, acts, & behaviors. This is why Love is the great commandment, this priority toward the well-being of a fellow child, regardless how appearances. To ascertain and judge well, it's required of us to be humble enough to inquire, and loving enough to support choices that lead to well-being, regardless of appearance. Sometimes, we may never know a person's reasons, and this is where patience, humility, faith, and Love become truly difficult, but truly consequential. yeah?

"Judge not"... or in other words using non-judgement is almost always best and safest as none of us are there yet. It is also the Higher Law! Think of righteous judgement as simply making a good decision for oneself only. As no one is truly "righteous", therefore we should stay in the "humble mode" for the rest of our lives. As someone said "It is a proud thing to judge another's servant".

I always encountered people saying “do not cast stones” when I rebuke horrible sins such as blasphemy and false witnesses…we aren’t trying to kill people with physical stones, we are doing what Jesus did, and that is rebuking and correcting error and sin in the hope that the person will repent and be saved
@ECLECTRIC_EDITS9 ай бұрын
Is it okay to mainly do that to other lukewarm Chrisrians? Jesus would firmlt rebuke Pharasiees, not the general public. We need to treat the rest of Godless society for what it is, broken and in need of healing!

Judging is both natural and necessary, whether you are a Christian or not. Pre-judging or prejudice is also natural and necessary. As you pointed out with your biblical verse, that should be obvious even if the bible didn't exist, is that your personal judgment can be wrong, thus you need more information to know the validity of your judgment. Sometimes we absolutely judge correctly, it's the many times that we don't that should be of concern.

As children of the same Father, we're capable of making momentary judgments about the value of an idea, a policy, or someone's work, but we're NEVER allowed to judge the value of a human being. In God's eyes, Luke 10: 25-37 says that if we Love God, we'll Love what God loves. And what does God love above all things? His children~! Therefore, the 2nd Great Commandment is like the 1st, for if we love God, we'll Love each other the same way God does... as the very fallible but infinitely complex & beautiful children He made each of us to be! Loving what the Father loves, with a father's love (with all of our might, might, & strength), fulfills all the Law & the prophets. This is our entire purpose, to know God, and in Loving who He is, come to know ourselves through how He sees us and how lovable and beloved we each are as children who are still growing into the full expression of a universe of potential we've each been instilled with. This value is sacred, so there is no judging a person: God made each of us to be loved as He does, and that's how He knows we love Him~! ☺
