You will use stainless steel screws that are also copper coated so that they match. If you have standing seam panels it's a stainless steel clip and stainless pancake heads. They're hard to find, but we do sell them. Do you need screws? What type? Do you need a quote on the panels? What type? Thank you, Paul Rubio

JYYCEE 67 is right on the money. You'll want to use a roofer who follows traditional European methods as American roofers tend to use techniques that rob the metal of it potential IE riveting and caulking/soldering as opposed to using complex folds and mechanical seams similar to this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZ-anoStgK-akNk Copper finger clips can be used on panels under 10'. If you have a solid wood deck or if you have your installer install solid wood compound battens, copper nails will hold the roof down just fine. Several of the roofs shown in this video would have been fastened in a similar fashion.

None,do not screw copper.

You just need stainless screws, and the screws shall not be visible on the construction

My wife and I live on the Philippines island of Siargao. Last December the island was hit by a level 5 cyclone/typhoon what ever you want to call it. Last year we bought some beach front land on the island. We are going to build next month. We are struggling with what sort of roof is best for our beach house. If we use metal,aluminium or copper will it rust or get blown off in a storm. Or is wood shingles the best. Any info would be great.

Alu and copper would be the best choise for sea weather. It doesnt rust

Hey I'm after some advice on my copper roof, I'm having a problem with needing to change my gutters every 5-6 years due to the copper reacting with zinc causing rust damage?
@Madrassgutten Жыл бұрын
Sounds like you should get copper gutters

@Madrassgutten Жыл бұрын
@@technodruid you can beat and bend the copper alot more without getting rifts in the bendings. Its a very solid and flexible material

@@Madrassgutten we had a copper roof on our front porch and it had buckling and twisting of the copper and small holes were present from weathering,we had it replaced 2 yrs ago our home 68 yrs old.
@Madrassgutten Жыл бұрын
@@eastside0434 i highly doubt its from weathering, must have been installed the wrong way. Do you live in the US?
