Are Danish Pigs Okay, and Why is Denmark Considered Tropical?

My neighbourhood here(Nyborg, so Fyn) do decorate their own front garden in Halloween stuff the whole October and November (or maybe December)😂 and there are many kids, so they do go around trick or treat in full costume

my first job at 12 was cleaning out pig pens at a local PGS pig farm. They wade around in their own poop and some even drowned in it. It was a very weird experience as a young adult. Pigs are really funny though, and smart I really loved working with them

My parents had a thing for self-sufficiency. I found out later that a lot of that was down to my dad having worked at an industrial butchery for a while. He didn't want his kids eating that.

Guys! Halloween is a new thing in DK that came as a commersialized thing. Adults didnt do halloween when we Were kids. So for us adults its more a thing kids do, not something we ourselves has a relatiosnship to. fastelavn has all kind of costumes, so i guess to do something different it had been focused on The Dark part?

As a pig myself (according to my ex), I've been much less stressed after the divorce... so the study may be right. But that's of course only anecdotal evidence. Wonderful to see Conrad back on the stream, he's just brilliant at putting a comedian perspective on our petty sized problems here. And thank you all for putting words on it.

I kinda wish you would go back to the videos where you explore Denmark or talk from your living room. It was a much more personal experience for the viewer rather than this podcast, studio setting. Theres still a ton of places outside Copenhagen that would make for a fantastic video about the country and making the viewer feel that they are along on the trip.

The Danish pig industry is in trouble. Danish Crown, a very big butchery owned by the farmers is not able to compete with foreign competitors. Danish farmers are sending their small pigs to Germany and Poland to get them fed up there. The industry is still big in Denmark, almost double the number of pigs compared to people. But like I said there are problems. Many years ago agriculture was important for Danish economy. It's not anymore. Although some people will want you to believe it's very important.
