You're asking an unanswerable question before camp even starts. Both players can be very talented, but jelling is not a guarantee.

If you go back and watch DJ's highlights. most of them are with Big Ben and you know for a fact Bryce physically could never make a lot of those throws. when DJ had to work with noodle arm QB's is when he struggled and became a distraction or just checked out all together.

When you give up so much draft capital to get the #1 overall pick you should be drafted a Prototypical QB, I'm not saying Bryce is already a bust but he looks to be one of the bottom tier QB, it's not 2001 Players coming out of college are expected to be NFL ready, college is faster and more complex then it was 20 years ago. To use so much capital to draft an unconventional player is just too risky of an investment, no player is a "Sure Thing" but to give up so much to draft someone that is by all regards an unconventional QB this is exactly what I expected. It was a huge miss even if Bryce "works out" you gave up so much to draft a guy that needs at least 2 years to be ready for the NFL game, if you need an example go watch how Andy played in his one start last year. We would of had a better season if Bryce sat and learned all year, he would most likely be in a better position going into this season and the Panthers as a organization would be in a better place.
