Great vid FT! Maybe you’ve heard this, but I also like to take my egg shells, nuke them for 3 minutes. Let them cool, and then I chuck them in an old food processor. I pulse into a powder, and feed it to my worm bin. That way the worms can quickly process the shells and covert it to calcium rich castings.

Thanks for the attention to Down To Earth ! Been using it for years, I use it many ways. For the past few years I’ve been adding a number of DTE ingredients into my compost tumblers and letting them cook along with the rest of the compost. So far so great ! Never add anything to veg cycle, only top dress and a little tea during flower. Great results so far. With implementing the use of bug netting the last couple years has made a huge difference in my harvests and peace of mind. First complete grow, no bugs, moths ( bud worms ) or any undesirable insects. Just tasty pure clean buds, free of any synthetic BS.
@simplytheboss8922
@simplytheboss8922 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, bug netting is key. No one ever talks about it. But if you grown long enough you know to keep rain and cold morning dew off your plants durring late bud and netting because so many things u find out later are hiding in your bud. I'm not into smoking caterpillars. Wash ur buds, grow on community, and grow on growmies 😎💯

It’s pretty overwhelming as a new grower there’s so much to choose from. I settled on the full line of Lotus Nutrients. I’ve only been giving my plants 1/3rd of the recommended dosage when feeding. I also use some Dynomyco when I transplant. My plants are only 5 weeks old and they’re really short, they have been through some high stress training and I’m already looking at over ten colas per plant but they’re super short and bushy. I’m just gonna let them do their thing. They seem happy and healthy. Love your videos man. I learn lots.

This may be late but search for mana pro oyster shells. I found it at a farm n feed store 5lbs/$4. Apparently hens need to eat them for calcium to lay eggs

I'm a big fan of their neem seed meal in my soil. 6-1-2 baby. That and worm castings. In flower I start feeding a different product called Incredible Bulk in the water. All organic, my autos love it as long as you're not heavy handed with any of 'em.

@@sethzimmerman6346 Definitely one my favorites and I'm not one to hype up some snake oil. It just works. I last ran it on Mephisto Sour Stomper. It'll get you that High Times eye appeal! One thing I noticed though is that it's not 100% water soluble. I'd keep it agitated when applying to multiple plant garden.

Went to the beach a couple days ago and filled up a garbage bag full of kelp. Also filled a few bottles with good old sea water. Cant beat free nutrients kelp is amazing full of all minerals a little npk and some growth hormones as well and same with sea water it also has microbes and great to add a little bit to a tea, i only do 1/100 sea water to water in teas soaking a 5 gallin bucket full of kelp for a couple days and simply adding a few cups of the water to like 5 gallons is great quick fix to perk your plants up great for marijuana vegetables flowers etc.. get your selfs some worms start a worm farm compost all your old fruits and vegetables scraps add fallin leafs full of minerals nutrients the worms break it down make it super plant avaliable, not all castings are equal only as good as the diet the worms are fed. Also go to your local seed store grab up corn, mung, alfalfa, and make seed sprout teas cant beat it full of enzymes cytocons natural growth hormones, last tip get your selfs some aloevera plants cant beat aloe root drenchs for your girls, full of minerals saponins salacilic acids, tons of stuff also great for foliar sprays, bugs and critters hate it plants love it watch your garden have a growth spirt over night after using, Aloe has a little of everything your garden needs perfect amenment. You can grow for pennies or quite cost effective anyways, look into some fpj or ffj, i will leave it at that i can go on. I love down to earth amenments but to expensive to source here in Canada, Gaia green is our down to earth,

I totally agree with you, you can’t beat free nutrients and I think kelp is underrated. It’s absolutely great for your roots. A lot of the stuff that’s good for your plants is stuff that people wouldn’t even think about. People don’t think about stuff like eggshells, coffee grounds, banana peels, seaweed it’s all great stuff. Thanks for the comments man I really appreciate it. I always have some great stuff to throw in the comments section.
