Another good pest deterrent is Listerine, the classic yellow one. Mix it 50/50 with water and spray every square inch of your grow area. Bugs will flee from the fumes, but it doesn't hurt the plants. Reapply whenever you can't smell it anymore. Old gardening & farming trick.

When I transplant my plants into thir pots I weigh them before I water them on a digital scale so I know around when they need to be water again by their weight. Example when I transplant them into their final two gallon pots they weighed 5.4 pounds dry and when I water them they weighed 9 lb so when they get down there around 6 lb I keep a watch on them. They can go down to 5.6 pounds and they're still praying to the Sun god. Which I think is right around that sweet G-spot there's no wilting and there's no drooping after watering they just keep praying to the sun gods

I grow DWC so over watering is never an issue but thanks for the canoe reference it’s been getting close to 80f and 30-40% humidity. Pretty sure it’s the canopy and up heat not the floor got a box fan under and a nice garage fan above blowing on the lights moving the air toward my 8 inch inline exhaust fan. Dealing with the ups and downs sucks but I see why. Thanks for your content. I don’t want to download more apps like IG or FB or Discord 😂 if I did that with every person I follow on you tube I wouldn’t have room on my devices for all that plus my own apps I use personally. I want to try and correct it, but the soil is still damp, I watered it just... 4 days ago, the plant is about , 2 weeks into budding.. the temp has been consistent, and should I go ahead and try to correct it or wait until the soil dries again? I narrowed it down to nitrogen deficiency, lights and the fan isn't the issue. What should I do? Should I just go right away and try to fix it..

So I've been growing indoor, I've used 5 gallon and 3 gallon pots, I feel like I'm wasting my soil by using 5 gallon because no matter the strain my plants never reaches 5 feet, I get small airy buds. I use all 3 fox farm nutes and fresh fox farm soil and every grow looks the same. I'm unsure what I'm doing incorrectly. Everyone I know who grows gets bushes and I barely get Charlie brown Christmas trees.

If using humidity packs, you will notice a loss is aroma. Once you grind it.. the terps will hit you like they never left. If not using packs in the jars.. the humidity may have dipped too low, which can cause a loss in terps.

Have you tried Air Pots? Any thoughts on those? Would you still go 7-10 gallons with those in flower?
@markrigg6623Ай бұрын
Air pots are awesome. Totally changed the hobby for me when I changed to them. I use the 28 litre ones which are taller but a bit narrower. This shape means no part of the soil can be more than 6 inches away from air exchange and it seems almost impossible to over water as a result. One thing I don't agree with is your implication that plants don't drink as much when vegging. On my first few grows my plants would rocket to a foot tall or so, but then I noticed this overall consistent trend of their growth rate slowing beyond this point. The problem turned out to be that their need for water was increasing exponentially, and I was not keeping up because of a fear of overwatering. I literally halved my veg time when I worked this out.

I'm experiencing some slow growth with a 50/40/10 ratio of Ocean Foreat soil, coco, and Perlite under 250W setting on a 600W MH/HPS set up. I've thought about using a compost tea after it dries out to boost the health. Thoughts?

Check air circulation. Make sure fresh air is in the area and the plant is getting hit with some fresh air with a fan
@elsonhamilton20813 жыл бұрын
@@natas12rm I appreciate the feedback. I have a box fan intake hitting my fabric pots with a 4" inline and exhaust to pull the air out from the top. The soil by my stalk seems to stay more compact and moist than the rest of my medium. Could this be the issue?
@CricketyChris3 жыл бұрын
In my experience autos start slow and speed up as they age. How old are your plants? Also, I have had good success with just direct sowing in 100% Ocean forest. Seems to feed through veg on autos. I'm wondering if they are just hungry. In my opinion a good aact couldn't hurt.

@Mrs.420Scene3 жыл бұрын
Where did you get the seeds? Could be the company or person gave you the wrong seeds, they were labeled wrong and could be a photo by mistake. And it could be that the plant it’s self is just not ready to flower if your still in veg. A lot of factors of why it could be taking a while.
