I started learning Egyptian Arabic as my eighth language as I increasingly got curious about learning Arabic and I don’t regret my decision one bit! These videos do a great job of showcasing what people are like during spontaneous videos and how they speak. It’s really inspiring to me and I hope I can reach a conversational level of Egyptian Arabic soon, that would be awesome! شكرا كتير ❤

It's because Egyptians don't pronounce the "q" (ق)

Mostly we don't pronounce /Q/, instead we say it like /'Ah/

Egypt is safe for everyone but i recommend going to touristic places with a tour guide and if you're still scared then don't go to Sinai bc it's near Gaza but you'll miss out a lot.
