I absolutely think 2025 will be a massive year for the WWE. All of the things Matt has said like Netflix, Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam etc but they could even top 2024 and I feel like they will because of the current momentum. No. Its really not that high. If they just bring back people that are great at promos all is well. Cena is definitely one I personally miss. He is always great. Whether he cuts a good or bad promo...he always delivers it with energy. Thats kinda sth the WWE missed. Everyone cuts a promo in a monotone voice. No one believes in what they say. They just talk. Back then Cena would scream and even have a big loogie on the microphone. But it was funny. The Rock would also talk with energy. Triple H would talk like he was having roid rage. He genuinely sounded evil with the growls. Kane would talk like sth out of a horror movie. Stone Cold would make you feel like he really was going to stomp a mudhole into someone. Its little things like that. The build for a match is just as important as the match. If you don't cut the promo right people wont make noise and that will take so much away from the match. WrestleMania 40 was loud because of The Rock. He carried that rivalry. He got the best out of everyone. Wwe misses those guys that can make it easy for others to grab that energy.

I have some constructive criticism of the content. Otherwise it’s the storyline. I think the shows do need more comedic and lighthearted segments. The Wiatt Sicks are ideal guinea pigs for cinematic matches and segments. The worm turns when CM Punk turns heel. I also believe they will have to move plans forward with Jacob Fatu who was brought in as a major foe for the OTC.

It's strange how folks think Netflix will bring in new viewers to the WWE live product when the reality is that WWE will need to remain "must see" for at least a full year to convert their "basic cable" viewers over to a paid streaming provider. There's a lot of hurdles to live event streaming that Netflix will need to overcome that they haven't quite managed to nail down just yet. They'll get there, but the second, third, tenth episodes of Raw will be where we'll see the cracks in the system. Anyway, great video, strong takes.

Only Cody can stop the Devil himself from destroying the WWE like he did the last promotion he was a pillar of, the AEW (which shall not be named, but alluded to). If they pursued that in the second half of 2025, or something like it, I would be a happy camper. Imagine all of the promos they could cut as far as their perception of the destruction of a promotion while they Kayfabed a ton of locker room drama and occasional brawls. You could have Adam Pearce do a Tony Kahn impression as far as being indecisive.

my assumption is that , punk wins world heavyweight championship at royal rumble, and then get the main event he deserved during his record breaking WWE championship run, and then main event WM as he was supposed to do as champion, he also lost the championship to THE FINAL BOSS at royal rumble that year, so my money is there. and SETH winning the rumble and facing PUNK at WM, punk losing at mania. both punk and seth getting what they want, rolling his championship which he sacrificed last year and punk getting his well deserved main event.

See I think anyone who thought that Raw on Netflix wouldn't have adds at all is stupid for multiple reasons but maybe less often and a 3hr RAW might actually be about 2.40hr or over the normal tv of a 3hr show is 2.10 ruffle or a 2hr show is 1.20hr.. probably be more Netflix trailers and some sponsor but they'll use the add time to set up a talk show if they have one or if was ladder match and they use that time to set things up
