I'm 23 minutes in, and I just wanted to let you guys know that I just hit pause, felt the hair raised on my arms, looked up at this beautiful sunny day, and said, out loud, to myself, "This is a treat." My mom's in the hospital and I've worked 118 hours in the last 2 weeks, and right now, in this moment, I love being alive and I love pro wrestling for these moments that make us feel alive. I'm thankful for this video, the work you put in, and even thankful that it dropped today. It feels like a present in a hard time and I hope it brings some major blessings your way.

From the watch-a-longs in the studio, Quizzlemanias, to the watch parties at the pubs now, it's become a great source of wrestling fun, news, and entertainment. Of the videos that you all have done, this one is by far the best of the group. As a fan of wrestling for over 40 years, I cannot wait to see what is next from you guys. I hope you take this format and run with it doing videos on everything from Cody's story, to going back to the territory days and how those ended up going away. The number of stories are limitless. Jimmy stopped Jey from winning at summerSlam because he didn't want Jey to be like Roman. Jimmy gave Jey the strength to break away from the bloodline because Jimmy wanted to finally go it alone from the Bloodline with his brother by his side but when Jey didn't like his actions at summerslam and left smackdown, Jimmy instead of forging this new path that he wanted with his brother fell back to what was comfortable. Jimmy fell back inline with the Bloodline and started acting the goof and being unserious because he wasn't invested in being in the bloodline any more he was there because other plans fell through. Jimmy was just going through the motions.

Fun fact about the bloodline: it first formed in 2016 as a generic face faction to back WWE World Champion Roman Reigns up against challenger AJ Styles and his faction, The Club. Both factions would then be broken up the the brand split.

I dont see why everyone still insists that Cody should have won at Mania 39. 1. Cody needed to have a reason to hate Roman in a rematch. 2. Roman still needs to be on top for the following months' story with the Usos to work 3. Simply, the build to and ending of Mania XL is way better than the ending of Mania 39 ever could have been.

Hi Pete! I just wanted to say that yes I agree that Romans title reign and story line is maybe the greatest of all time. More importantly I think this might be the greatest wrestletalk video of all time! Seriously Pete, and everyone involved with this project, this was so well written, produced, and edited. I hope this video serves multiple purposes now and in the future. Now to educate people who are now back into wrestling or starting to get into wrestling learning the whole backstory of the moment that was wrestlemania 40 and Roman’s historic Reign. In the future I hope this video serves as an almost historical record of how important and vast the story really was. Hopefully wwe can top this story someday. Again Great Job Everyone involved with this video! Thank you!

I still to this day defend wrestlemania 39 and it’s ending. Call me any name in the book but I believe that mania 39 is a perfect mania, better then 17 and 19, it does everything right nights one and two with incredible action and emotion. Giving Roman the win felt like an amazing final swerve that was both shocking and incredible and had me up off my seat.

this is really really well done, i'm glad you recapped it all, because it's hard to remember everything. i would love to see you do a recap of the full Bray Wyatt story. it would definitely help people remember, or learn, the pertinent information behind the new Wyatt Sick6 story. you could do chapters on NXT, main roster debut, evolution of the family, teaming with Matt Hardy, how Bray turned into Mr. Rogers, the whole Fiend saga, how Bray came back, the original story with Uncle Howdy, Bray passing away, up to the Wyatt Sick6 debut. I can't really remember the Bray and Uncle Howdy story, so I'd love a refresher. Thanks for all the great work you guys do.

Big kudos to you guys for this one - my partner (who doesn’t follow wrestling closely at all and just watches the PLEs with me) didn’t know the back story to the early days of the bloodline and has only seen about the last 6ish months of this - I sent her the WWE “best of the bloodline” playlist but it doesn’t nearly tell the story as well as you have recounted it here. She went from not getting Sami as a character to loving him (making the IC title win that much more fun) - Great job here guys

Recapping this now, That whole Royal Rumble segment was pure emotionally charged gold. Stellar story-telling, which shows that when WWE actually tries, building feuds logically and long-term, can be amazing, and get fans emotionally invested. Also, I know that the Cody Rhodes winning at Wrestlemania was epic, but I walked away wanting more of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. THAT MOMENT, was the moment of the match for me, that left me wanting so much more.

WWE frequently referred to Roman and The Usos as "The Bloodline" as far back as 2015. During their feud with The OC in 2015, the term "The Bloodline" was thrown around A LOT to describe the trio and their family on screen. Other than that, this is an absolutely phenomenal video, I can tell so much hard work and research went into this. One of the best WT videos out there.
