Are Fear and Anxiety secretly in LOVE? Here are 7 times it’s clear. When Anxiety tells Joy that Fear protects her from what she can see, Fear is obviously elated, a sure sign of a hard crush. When Anxiety is running through the worst-case scenarios of Riley having no friends in her new school, Fear looks at her lovingly and says “You and I are gonna be friends.” When Riley winds up making friends with Val, Fear is very impressed and is not afraid to show it. I love how most people are shipping these two but how is no one realizing that if they do get together it's going to go bad for Riley big time. With Fear and Axiety's love for each other they wouldn't be able to ever touch the console together at all because they'd create Riley's Paranoia and therefore not help Riley's state of mind. P.S.
