They should have had a few of these scrapped emotions show up for a little cameo in Mom and Dad's heads during the credits to give a glimpse into the fact that a LOT more emotions might still be coming.

Oh yeah, they should. I can still picture Shame being a temporary antagonist in Inside Out if they made a third movie. Including other emotions who are waiting to be a part of Riley yet they seem similar to the ones Joy and Anxiety has. I can just picture an Emotional Support Group Community in Riley's head. Each with its own ideas and inspirations. Then again that is a fan theory.

i was always under the impression that riley went through depression in the first movie when the console went dark and none of the emotions could use it.

I think Depression is way too dark for Inside Out 3 especially for children who don’t understand the meaning or how it works in your life

🎥 Theory Time: Sea of the Mind. If they do make another Inside Out. Becoming Inside Out 3. I can picture a much older Riley dealing with a new but “darker” set of emotions. As well as her mind world expanding into uncharted waters. Ocean of possibilities. ------------------------ Possibly, when everyone is asleep. Riley's mind gets wilder and more unpredictable than ever. Taking a bit of an open-world exploration route in her mind. Turning Riley's mind Inside Out into a bigger location than before. A battle from within. ------------------------ Forcing Joy and Anxiety Group to search for a way to save Riley. As Riley would be dealing with changes in her life. As something new but dangerous is lurking in her mind. Someone who is tired of waiting. ------------------------ 7:20 Where the Riley mind becomes more of an ocean of possibilities. A “Sea of the Mind” if it were. Where characters of SS Brainfart and Gale are used to navigate Riley's newly updated mind world for Joy and Anxiety Group to explore. ------------------------ Where the Joy and Anxiety Group finds themselves in uncharted waters. This would well as bring in other emotions who are waiting to be part of Riley. But have been tired of waiting. ------------------------ Where Shame and her emotion crew would appear as a “final set of emotions” for Riley to handle. Where they kinda act as a temporary antagonist for the Joy and Anxiety emotion groups. ------------------------ For in a forgotten corner, the Shame crew waited for their turn on Riley's emotional board, growing weary of the sidelines and plotting their own comeback. ------------------------ Also showcasing scrapped emotions that got cut for Riley. Becoming guest appearances who are waiting to be part of Riley's emotional support group. Who is still waiting for their invitation? ------------------------ Then at the end, each would slowly begin to be part of Riley due to Joy and Anxiety groups. Forming different emotional groups for Riley. Where they find ways to make it work. Not just including the worst ones of all. But all different sides of emotions. Even ones that are similar to the other. In the sense of an Emotional Support Group Community for Riley. ------------------------ Then again that is a fan theory. A long and detailed fan theory. I always imagine Tara Strong voicing Shame if she were in Inside Out 2, who’s known for voicing Raven from Teen Titans Go. Plus, I also imagine Allison Janney voicing Jealousy, who also voiced Gladys from Over the Hedge and Ms. Grunion from Mr. Peabody and Sherman as well.

😕 too dark on Shame.. hmmm kinda a.. "Shame" to didn't bring Shame on a Big Screen.. just wish Shame to be a Villain. But Maybe one last chance to bring it and make it more.. Not to Far.
