1:23:22 I'm personally on team painted stockings over "real" stockings. When painted right, they look amazing and with it, comes the piece of mind that you'll never have to worry about them wearing or fraying over time or the dye bleeding into the PVC. I also find that "real" fishnets on figures tend to make their legs look really pale underneath. It could just be the stark contrast of the black fishnets over the skin creating an optical illusion or the manu not bothering with more than a base coat on the legs since they're going to be covered in stockings.

It’s why I love 1/6 diorama resins, they’re an incredible moment frozen in time, my favourite figure in my collection is my Rengoku Vs Akaza from Hero Belief Studios. The statue is amazing, the paint is flawless, it’s just as good as my Prime1 statues even though they’re an unlicensed studio. If you want a good Demon Slayer resin they’re a great studio.

The salter and jalter pair rerun is nice. They are not the best for each character by far, but they are a nice pair together. I really do like their look and dynamic together. The black dress Kurumi is very nice looking. I'd probably have gotten it if I didn't have the calligraph one which mostly fill the same asthetic niche... that and the over a dozen other Kurumi I have... I do need to stop at some point..

In regards to Kadokawa - oshi no ko - Ruby she has a pre order bonus with a 2nd face plate, the Ai figure did the same and now the price is expected to go up after release but the Ai figure is really nice whereas the base and dark idol clothing on Ruby is a bit dull.

I preordered that Wakamo immediately because fox girl in vaguely Japanese dress, and I am building a collection. Plus it just feels like it has a presence with the fox mask, but the face is also kind of pretty. Hopefully it turns out good for that price. There's also a fox girl by AniMester that's beautiful but very affordable that I preordered immediately. Have not pulled the trigger on that Reimu yet, mostly because I was maybe expecting a slightly cheaper price. I do not have a Reimu figure and kind of want one, and that one just spoke to me. Still deciding, thinking I may or may not see it cheaper in pre-owned since there's so many of the character, and the FuRyu one comes later. The Wakamo looked like it was going to be popular so I went for it quickly, but now on the fence for Reimu. Another one I preordered that went up recently is Sagisawa Fumika in her casual outfit and surrounded by books. I don't know Idolmaster outside it being an idol game, but I always liked this character's vibe from art, so I preordered her. Pretty girl + comfy outfit + books is a win in my book. Also, do you know about these A-Z characters by someone named Neco? One for a character named S went up recently as well, her in a gorgeous white kimono and a long katana she's holding in front of her? I got my eye on that one but haven't preordered yet. Like Reimu, still on the fence and seeing if it has a lack of popularity enough it'll bin immediately. I haven't gotten it yet, but I feel PUP Bridget is all I need. Random catch on that Leon Magnus figure: the photos say "Tales of Eternia" at the bottom.

Sadly I don't know much about the A-Z line, though I know some of the figures have turned out good. A few different manufacturers have worked on the series, so not all of them are equal in quality or even price. Also yeah I guess I didn't notice that about Leon. I remember reading something about how they changed the names of the games around for the west. I think Tales of Eternia is Tales of Destiny 2 over here? A bit confusing

The Maneki Miku is so cute but yeah I'm holding off and hoping it goes down in price later. I really like the Wakamo figure too, but I don't really feel comfortable preordering it because I'm also not confident that Neonmax will deliver. What comes to mind is the Mois figure they made. I loved the design and preordered it but had to cancel. In hindsight, I was glad because I really didn't like the way she looked in any of the photos/videos I've seen of the final product. The hair is a big problem and the photo you showed of the Wakamo figure reminded me of that. 😅 I'd love to be proven wrong though, because that design is incredible.

And now that you highlighted the different positives, Emile Berlin is also being considered but I have slight doubts if Design Coco can deliver all that. I think this is a difficult question to answer in a short amount of time, and I'm unsure if I will tackle it in the video, but I do feel like we've hit a ceiling so to speak. While some companies might keep trying to get more money, it seems like we're at the point where sales are starting to get heavily impacted by the price increases and consumers have had enough of it.

Hi there Zucco, totally agree with you on the Rin and Nadeshiko figure! As someone who loves Yuru Camp ( it’s one of my all time favorite anime ), and owns most of the figures ( including the Alter Rin with scooter ) - this one is just terrible. Don’t get me wrong; the concept of the two of them together is great, it’s just that I hate how it turned out. Especially the faces… they don’t look like them at all! I think we can agree Nadeshiko’s is the worst, and the expressions are often a dealbreaker for me if they’re not good. So yeah, even if I had the money to spend, this was an easy pass.

I love the Miku and the Uma Musume designs - they look super cute! But, like you, I likely won't be picking them up. I have so many figures coming out in the next six months and thus must allocate my funds elsewhere. I am super happy companies are finally coming to their senses when pricing their new figures. With that said, I will probably be pre-ordering that La+ scale, because, well, I love Hololive. I do wish GSC and other manufacturers making the line stuck with the same scale size though. I agree with your observation about that Prisma Wing Yuru Camp scale. The longer I looked at the promo photos, the greater my disappointment became. Will this scale serve as another example of great concept, poor execution? Don't worry about liking Persona 3 more. I actually feel the same way, even though I love Persona 5 a ton. Love the color scheme on Remilia, don't like the wings though. They're just standing there completely flat to the sides, that can't possibly be the resting position, it just looks really uncomfortable to me, wish there was some movement. I can't believe I missed the Watson Amelia Pop Up, I really wanted it too. I even bought the Gawr Gura Pop Up just yo go with it wich was my only reason for buying it. I wonder if the blue on the silver of the Schwi figure is meant to look like either the blue is glowing, or the silver metal is reflecting the blue? I'm not positive but I'd imagine that's a deliberate design choice rather than a paint job error either way. It would be pretty bold of them to put a picture of such an extreme error in the direct center of a photo, wouldn't it? The Estream Bridget kinda looks like...She got stung by bees, idk...Something is *wrong.* She looks like her face is made of like, cheap rubbery plastic, and her eyebrows are either too light or too high up, that they disappear completely...Honestly, usually I don't mind it when figures don't have intense shading, I prefer them to have less shading and have the details of fabric folds and hair really come out with the sculpting personally. When the shading is too intense and detailed the figures start looking a little...Dirty or muddy I guess? Honestly I'm a freak but I honestly prefer the way prize figures look a lot of times...But something about this Bridget's hair being *so* unshaded just...Makes her whole head look even more off. Oh I really like the winking face for the Listless Lapin figure, it looks like she's mid yawn, it's really really cute I also prefer it when figures have real fishnets. You mentioned in another comment about being worried about ripping them when you pick up the bunny figures, and while I don't own any FREEing bunnies, the Bicute Bunny I do own has really nice tights. I'm a person who wears fishnets fairly frequently, so just so you know you can actually be a bit rougher with them than you'd expect. Though, since there's no real way to replace them if they do rip I wouldn't recommend rough housing too much them(you know that, of course) but they're very stretchy and I don't think you have to worry so much about ripping them up just by picking them up and handling them, unless you have very sharp nails or keep them near sharp objects because you like the danger. I do think they could have gotten nice ripped looking fishnets if they cut them and fray checked them with some good fray check glue, the only issue would be they wouldn't really be as taught against the leg as they should be considering they're fishnets. Maybe if they were paired with mesh too, it would help the fishnet keep their shape better, and honestly the way that figure is painted it looks like it's a mesh/fishnet combo anyway so it might have been really easily doable.

That 1/3 scale bikini figure was great, except that I don’t really buy figures bigger than 1/6, I hate it when I find a great figure, but then there’s that one thing that ruins the entire figure for me, those dark stalkers figures might not be the best I’ve seen, but to me they’re still pretty good, the bishoujo ones are probably the best so far, you should check out Lilith by Amakuni, she’s my queen, can’t wait for the bishoujo line to hopefully release a bishoujo series for the Resident Evil girls. 😐

I found the story of 3 to be much more impactful at the time, and I kinda like the characters a bit more too, but I can't deny how many improvements P5 made to the gameplay, and despite being like 100 hours I got through it pretty quickly since I was having fun. I like the music more in 3 as well, though some of the remixes in reload sound a bit weird to me so I'm kinda worried about that

We do need some better looking Yuji figures, I feel like he and Nobara get shafted a lot when it comes to good scales. Going to same thing for Mob Psycho 100. Great show, not crazy on the figures though. In terms of Crunchyroll and Rightstuf merging into one, I still feel worried when Crunchryoll left their old site to their new one since I had preorders from the old one that haven't completely transferred over to the new one. This will be the last time I will be interacting with either of these two train wrecks, seriously.

The Power by Amakuni I was able to get for a pretty good deal, since it was free shipping and lower than most other websites. Now, I'm like I don't know if I'll get it. The character is the main mascot for a music software program. She's been in video games and music videos and album art. A lot of her licensed appearances tie back to music made with the Vocaloid software programs, but sometimes she'll be in random stuff like a shampoo commercial or a Domino's Pizza promotion. I'm 95% sure that the audio for the music program isn't AI, but I could be wrong; my Hatsune Miku knowledge is limited.

It's funny, the way you feel about the Ilulu figure is exactly how I feel about the Lucoa bunny. Doesn't look like her at all to me, so easy skip. Though unlike Ilulu, it's not the face, it's the body that's completely wrong on her. That said, I'm not opposed to watching those other two Ilulu's that are yet to have a prototype. Lucoa already has the Q-Six version and that actually looks like Lucoa. No surprise they'd do better with that type of design than Freeing. Lucoa feels more like a job for Binding, than Freeing.

@@ZuccoFigures Yeah, I mean her proportions/body in general. The only thing that looks right about the figure is her face/hair, the rest looks completely off to me. Almost just feels like a placeholder. It's like if you took her and thinned her out, but made her taller/having longer legs. Ah well, is what it is.
