I've said before, I don't understand why Scottish football is so keen to import this 'ultras' culture. It was one of the main reasons Italian football died in the mid-2000s. The attendances dropped off a cliff when fathers stopped taking their sons and daughters to the games because they became dangerous and unpleasant places to be. They also got fused with hardline politics. The idea that you need ultras groups to 'create and atmosphere' at games is nonsense.

Sorry but you can't compare the ultras culture that exists in Scotland to that which was in italy. Totally different. These you guys sing their hearts out, I remember Celtic park during standard league games just prior to GB being founded - it was silent at times.

@@buzzlopavich I don't know about league games, but celtic park, hampden and ibrox gained their reputations for great atmospheres (at least in european/international games) long before the ultras came on the scene

@@mabuhayASMR uefa has not fined Celtic millions of pounds. They fine us in the region of 10-20k for breaches and the green brigade pays them. And then the additional money they collect goes to charity, including in the west bank.

Money in Scottish game. It is not just at the top end. I love lower level football but for many grounds you cannot just go along and pay money or with a card at the gate. For a recent first round scottish cup game you had to go online and buy a ticket in advance for a game with only a few hundred fans and masses of empty seats. Lunacy. Turning away customers wanting to pay money. What other form of business would do that?

l used to go to a lot of games in the past depending what the weather was like or how the mood took me as l worked a lot on Saturdays as well. It was good that you could just turn up at the smaller games and pay at the gate. Nothing against buying on-line as l understand it for the bigger games and it beats standing outside in a long line for hours for a sellout match, But just wish for the smaller matches they would just have just one gate open that sells tickets on the day.

Remember the fights between the fans…..and the family problems dependant on the result of games. Having home support only has avoided a lot of these problem issues. Keep home support for many of the matches

Hearts should issue an apology for reducing the Celtic ticket allocation since before the game the club stated that the ground would be a sell-out! In truth they simply thought that fewer Celtic fans would give them a better chance to win - thankfully they got what they deserved "nil" points.

As for game i feel Celtic need to do something about tiring out in the 2nd halves in games as shall cost team wins . This needs looked at ..Sad the poor record in last few yrs at home for Celtic with many defeats Whereas way back we were tough to get a result against at celtic park man of match for me Maeda . If you use the money argument then Rangers would lose money via season ticket sales so it makes no sense for Rangers to give Celtic more tickets.

Something has to be done about the front rows of "fans" at Tynecastle. For years they have been getting away with spitting on and throwing the ball at the faces of opposing players especially Celtic's. Mikhail Lustig in one game got the ball whacked into his face twice. Why he never Cantona'ed the shits I don't know. Maybe the powers that be wait tll that happens before the do something about it.
