Are Grand Palladium Bavaro & Punta Cana THE SAME Resort? ( Tour 4 Resorts in 1 !?!?! )

I will be going in a few weeks. The closer I get to the trip the more nervous im getting due to some poor reviews Ive been reading. Thanks for your reviews

@travelandledger I've seen negative reviews stating the rooms are outdated and not clean. The food is not great and it's very hard to get a reservation at a restaurant. I also read that there are upcharges for everything so it isn't really all inclusive. I do understand people can just be rude and negative so I should take some of it with a grain of salt.

between palace/punta cana/bavaro which one to choose with 2 young girls ?

Hey great question! It depends what kinds of things you want to do... Punta Cana is in the middle so that will be closest to the kids pool area and the kids club and the sports area. There's also a lot of activity here and seems where most the kids hang out. Bavaro is closer to the sunset theater and the arcade. Their pool also has a lot of activities going on but not as many kids for the girls to play with. Palace is more adult focused the closer you go towards Turquesa. So I'd say Palace is def out. When you check in you can ask to be placed withing the resort you choose closer to whichever area you like. We asked to be closer to the pool because we knew we'd spend a lot of time there. It just so happened we LOVED the pool closest to us. Honestly for as big as it is it is super easy to get around and lovely to walk! They have a train that goes lobby to lobby and you can always hop in a golf cart or call for one. Hope that helps!

booked the punta cana....we are a couple and while we wanted adult only we simply could not afford it. Will there be a ton of kids or should I change my reservation to the palace? We are going the 1st full week in January. And which has the best beach?

You should be good at the Punta Cana! That's where we stayed! Most families w kids do the buffets and hang at the kids pool (they have a pirate ship). They also have a kids club and kids buffet so kids are not around a ton when we stayed there. The beach is amazing the whole stretch honestly. They also have 6 pools that you get access to just staying at any of the grand palladiums in general. You get access to all the resorts except Turquesa. One pool is an adults only by the way, but yeah if one pool is packed or has too many kids try one of the others etc. The a la carte restaurants don't have many kids especially later in the day like if u eat after 630 etc.

we are debating whether to try this resort or go back to where we went last time, do you have access to all the resorts despite booking one over the other?

Yep! That was our deciding factor! No matter which room you book you get access to each of the resorts (except the TRS upgraded area)

@@robynroyce4835 we stayed at Iberostar Selection Bavaro and loved it, the food was amazing and the beach was beautiful!
