Thank you for your detailed room review. My wife and I have reservations in April and I'm seeing mixed reviews of the rooms, staff, and food. I look forward to watching the rest of your reviews.

Thanks! We had a GREAT time! I have a lot to say! Going to try to post a video a day breaking everything up so it's easier to watch 👍 We had really hot water but I did hear a lady complaining that she had none at reception and they moved her to a different room with no hestitation. My advice would be ask for what you want at check in (for example we were two ladies so we prefer not ground floor housing for safety & we mentioned it was our birthday when they asked if we were celebrating anything.. they also check your ids at check in so they knew we weren't just making it up lol) and just check you have hot water and that your toilet flushes - which I do anytime I check into my room at any hotel in general anyways. Staff was absolutely lovely and the food was really good where I ate. The only ones that were very different were Bamboo & La Lola.. they were just a very different spin/fusion of those cuisines than you may be used to.

Thank you for this great review. I am going back and forth between Bavaro and Punta Cana. 2 Adults and 3 kids, we're leaning towards the Punta Cana side.

The kids will def makes friends! There's a lot of kids at the Infantil pool and lots of games etc too so it's fun for the adults and the kids.. AND there's a swim up bar 😃 But staying anywhere you get access to everything so really up to you pricewise.

We have stayed in both Bavaro and Punta Cana and honestly the entire resort is easy to walk and it doesn’t make a huge difference. Our room in Bavaro was a 3 minute walk from the Punta Cana resort . We rarely took the trains but they are convenient and abundant. Walking was often quicker . Rooms were similar, although Bavaro room was bigger (but maybe not as nice). We have booked for a third year and trying the palace resort next 😊 .

Great video you guys. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (ramps? golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (is. from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much h, Steve S.

Yes they have plenty of golf carts! They'll pick you up and drop you wherever 🤗 I did not see elevators for the floors so I would put in your notes that you need a first floor. Otherwise most activities etc are on ground level and easy to access!
