Are Hammer Users Systematically Oppressed in Monster Hunter World?

This is an urgent message to all hunters of monster hunter world. It’s especially pertinent to hunters who use the hammer. The Message: Hammer users are oppressed in Monster Hunter World. This is a fact. And they’re oppressed systematically, so there’s not a lot we as individuals can do. Of course with this knowledge, hopefully some people will make World ( ha ha ) a better place.

Now this may be a stretch but hear me out, bring Flinch Free lv1. Doesn't solve EVERY problem, any hammer user that wants to do a lv2 uppercut or a gunlance wyvernblast will still send you flying, buuut 9/10 times it will solve most tripping problems.

Good points, good points. But a counter argument. Ahem. Whenever I use the flinch free skill I have a hard time telling when the monster hits me. So then I get killed because half of my HP mysteriously vanished.

@@SubIndy If you were wearing rocksteady at all times, I would agree with you. But considering how all monsters, tempered or untempered (excluding Fatalis), don't suddenly drop your health to abysmal levels without a clear indication ie: sending you hurling against the floor with or without flinch free 1, I call that a pretty weak excuse so really that counter argument doesn't make much sense.

Idk, personally I never payed that much attention to the skills in world. ( there’s so many of them it’s hard for me to keep track lol ) So I kinda ignored them. Probably not the best idea in retrospect.

@@SubIndy That is probably one of the worst ideas to do in an rpg game ngl. Whelp what’s done is done you can only learn from here on out. You should probably look into skills from time to time. Skills like slugger (ko damage) and focus (faster hammer and greatsword charge) they are mandatory for hammers. Divine protection and free meal are god sends too.
