Word bro. Not to be misleading there are certain materials that could burn. But if you follow the safety guidelines for use of these machines it should be OK. Because like I explain to someone else our stoves are safe but I'm pretty sure if we put a blanket in the oven and leave it would be disastrous. So use the machines within their safety guidelines. Thanks for watching Jonathan. It's probably because they have seen someone use these in properly. To be absolutely fair anything producing any kind of spark affect can be a fire hazard without training and proper use. Then again so can every so can every stove in every house if not use properly used. It's all in a matter of training and safety. There are those who will embrace new technology like this and those who will not.

They are not safe in any way. When used in the right setting with proper safety measures can be ok, that’s why they require fire permits in all states in the USA!

Hi thanks for the video. Just received our machines. But it seems to be burning the paper. Does your sparks crackle as they go off ? I think they might have supplier the wrong powder.

You're welcome my friend. What you see in the video is what you get. I think it is definitely a matter of what kind of powder you're burning and I use what's called a "Titanium Composite". I have not tested out any feathers but I don't think I will NOT be operating my machines around feathers also. Best case scenario follow the instructions of the machines and definitely know if they are indoor versus outdoor rated. Good luck my friend.

Hello Steven, the technical answer is yes but so can a cigarette smoke if you stayed on a ladder and blew it close enough to one of the sensors. In reality though, venues across the planet are allowing these machines to be use in their facility because there are generally safe. You have to follow the rules to operate them and use common sense when operating them. To my knowledge I have not seen or heard of fire alarms going off.

I do not approve of these…they still catch things on fire and are actually hot, they contain titanium, and emit dangerous chemicals. They illegal in quite a few places. All cold spark machines function the same exact way no matter if its a cheap Chinese knockoff or a name brand machine. Essentially they take in a powder mix of Titanium and Zirconium, send it through a convection heater at around 600 degrees C, and blow it up into the air. The real questions that we need to ask are as follows: Do these machines have safety features built in such as tip over detectors and overheat sensors with emergency shutdown? Are they being controlled with a hardware controller that gives you realtime feedback? Also are these machines certified with the NFPA? Do they have an NRTL mark? Are they designed to be compliant with NFPA code 70? In addition to the machine design are they insured from the manufacturer and does the manufacturer require its operators to take a class and become certified? Do you have a class D fire extinguisher on site which is designed specifically to extinguish combustable metal fires? Does your insurance cover the use of pyrotechnics? Have you contacted the local fire marshall to inquire about pulling permits prior to the event? Is there a safety plan in place?

@@AldoRyan realistically is it the machine that is unsafe or the person operating the machine and safe. We drive cars every day I'm pretty sure if you fall asleep behind the wheel or being intoxicated behind the wheel of a car you could have a not so favorable outcome. So driving a car has rules and things you must do to operate safely. These machines are well capable to be operated safely if you operate them within the safety guidelines, rules and common since. Like any equipment it's not for everybody.

Ecerything that is a machine has to be maintained and operated with safety in mine. Proper set up and maintenance is always required. I also bring a a class D metals. Fire extinguisher 🧯 also strictly for this purpose. An iron in you home can cause a fire if you dont take precautions. Any one who is in the business needs to educate themselves before using any devices.
