Are Kailh BCP better than BSUN BCP??

ok, i didnt have high hopes for these as most soundtests seemed that the bsun bcps were better. was told by a few homies that it wasnt worth grabbing, the keebtaro comments were saying wobbly etc. glad my assumptions were incorrect. This is a slapper switch, its not super loud like ghost dragons or super clacky. but i love the cherry like scratch, and overall pretty smooth even with scratch. has nice even tone, that i quite enjoy. they seem a little longer travel than the bsun version and not as loose sounding as the bsun variant. I give these a solid buy if you looking for bcp type sound. i believe they may be cheaper than bsun as well. if you like cherry, the scratch on these will make you happy.

I really been enjoying these last 2 switches, really nice to take a break from the HMX takeover. these plus ghost dragons plus straight up mx black cherry i been running on the leviatan, i havent really been using hmx as my daily other than for soundtests lately. the last 10 hmx releases were all deeper variants and not my jam. the 3.9mm sunset gleams i should have this weekend and give them a run, but all tests i seen so far they dont sound anything like ducks and are significantly deeper sounding so im not super excited. hopefully i will be pleasantly surprised like i was with this switch. i like these. recommended, shy seal of approval

👀👍! i made some bcps of my own with jwick blacks for bottom housing, cherry top, and cream stem, and it actually sounded pretty similar to the kailh bcps! I really do like how these kailh bcps actually have a longer travel distance compared to the frankenswitched bcps that i made, even if by a little bit.

I have the exact same config (Kailh BCPs on C7 with alu plate, no foam) and this combo is just excellent! I know this hobby is a personal preference thing, but i can't thing what more someone wants from a keyboard regarding, sound, feel, aesthetics etc. Great vid mate!!

i originally thought they would be so close that it might not be worth doing. but now that i have build a board with em and i like em, i will do a direct 1v1 like i did with the ghost dragon vs neon. i will use a different board than the tempo last time. i thought the cf was too much of a factor in the previous 1v1. maybe my qk60 for the bcp 1v1. stay tuned

@@shylocutus You should definitely reupload them with a comparison. i have both and I don't know how it would pick up the nuances on camera, but there is a noticeable difference between them imo

@@isstylertho yeah for sure, i just micrometered em, 3.28 for bsun, 3.49 for kailh. the differences i noticed just in the description of this video. but yes i will be making a seperate 1 with both on same board at same time.

imo these are a tiny bit cleaner sounding, i did measure the travel to be slightly longer which helped. i will be doing a direct comparison video similar to the neon v ghost dragon video soon
