To be honest, David Lammy is considered a ''joke'' in the inner circles of western power. Here you have Guyanese-British man trying to solve ''European-Western'' problems ? But when a that South Asian lady in October 2022 from the Labour Party said Kwasi Kwarteng is ''superficial black'' he couldn't say anything. Lammy is a career politician and understand by aligning himself to labour it gives him a chance to get high positions in government. The real western and British chauvenist in the UK see Lammy as downfall of their society. A so called ''blk'' man in a authority positon in a country that used to be western global powerhouse a man who we ''deep down'' see as less then is in power ...HOW ? is what they think. In other words Lammy position is seen by them as an insult to Western Civilization Kamala Harris is not even ''blk'' as no one is essence. African diaspora still calling themselves by a colour based racial-political stratification. Notice Kamala Harris is also South Asian and points out her 🇮🇳 Desi/Indian culture, she doesn't go around saying ''hey i am brown women i am brown women''. Western media highlights her Indian heritage as it's connected with an ancient civilization of South Asian subcontinent. But when it comes to her 🇯🇲 Jamaican side ''oh well it's just blk'' that is in essence a form of disrespect of not valuing her heritage, culture and civilization. Her father is a multiethnic man with Afro Caribbean, Irish, Sephardic Jewish backgrounds. (Jamaica was a place where Irish people but also a sizable of Portuguese Jews lived)
