KFs are primarily not made for grip. They make it easier to ADS slowly (the extended ones at least). Imagine if your joy stick was 2ft tall, if you moved it 4 inches, your cursor will only move slightly, whereas if you had a shorter joy stick, when you move it slightly, your cursor moves a lot because there is a shorter distance to travel.

when it comes to the prong issue, cop a pair of the precision rings. they fit underneath the freek, you put em on before applying the stick attachment itself. concept is about adding varying degrees of resistance so you’re more precise with your aim. they work for sure, personally I like the soft because it adds a bit of resistance while still allowing you to move freely. def useful if you want to use a higher sensitivity but remain accurate as well. it’ll take care of that prong issue as well

I think the tabs only grind on scuf controllers. I have a PowerA xbox controller and the tabs don't grind on the controller at all. Awesome video!!

Cqc rush is my go through, but the only con side is grip runs out faster than the regular kontrol freeks. Only took a month for the grips to run out than the galaxy and I've had the galaxy over a year and it still has the grips

I ended up mix and matching FPS Freek Edge(Blue) and FPS Freek Vortex(Orange) on my DualSense. I use the Blue Freek Mid-Rise(convex) on the left stick. Clicking the stick is easier I get less controller fatigue. On the right stick I use the Orange Vortex High-Rise(convex). Good grip pattern and Aim plus I can slip to the buttons from the high stick easier than with the concave Edge High-Rise.

Yo, can someone tell me where he got that purple control freak. I have used that control freak for a very long time now. I bought a replacement off Amazon, and it feels like a rip off version. Can't tell if it's the same control freak but less used, or if it's just a rip off v version. The replacement I bought feels more plasticky and less wide.

Wouldnt the prongs grinding be negated by using the high rise, me personally i use the high rise and it doesnt rub since its a much bigger height? Ofc it comes down to personal preference but in my time using them i dont feel any grinding? (Not trying to take away from your review its good to see honesty and not just saying its good since its a big company)

I just ordered the amazing, even both high-rise (for FPS/TPS that has vehicles like Fortnite, Battlefield, Call of Duty a bit, Grand Theft Auto which is more of driving w/ TPS and DCS) KontrolFreek Call of Duty Vanguard (coz' hybrid surface is the best, you got pull and push with concave and convex and straight mathematically means you'll be more efficient, faster and more stable in the microseconds instead of milliseconds), it's too expensive X-D (didn't get the fake ones coz' those are just plastic and will slip) but I guess it's long-term use, this is after refunding the also good, 5x o 6x cheaper Skull & Co. which doesn't have the hybrid surface but has an amazing very convex side in one of it's 6 piece set which I truly loved. I hope the amazing KontrolFreek Call of Duty: Vanguard will be more of a red-orange color in real life, rather than red for the amazing white with black camo silicone skin, Playstation 5 DualSense which when gyro's set nicely is the best for driving Arkham Knight's Batmobile. Try my planned, experimental claw grip variant: controller on the lap with fingers almost 90 degree angle with the buttons (almost like typing) with ring and pointing finger on the shoulder and trigger buttons and use the arm instead of the thumb for straight movements (a technique in drawing straight lines) wearing latex gloves maybe (nitrile for all day wearing but less grip than surgical lates powder-less gloves). God bless KontrolFreek (they should have just added an s to their name, many spell in as KontrolFreeks).

I use the domed cqcx on my ps5 controller right stick and I liked those the most. The tall ones are too uncomfortable for me and I sometimes got caught on the stick when I tried to reach square...so cqcx is the way to go for me :)

Kontrol freeks need to break in. they are super hard when you first get them. they will become soft and feel much better in a week or two of using it. i use a high red vortex kontrol freek. really nice feel to it. The MW ones were good too but i cant find them anymore. so i just stick to the red vortex

@@lalshortshot2051you are right about that but I love the xbox series s/x but the controller layout is just a big turn off for me which is why I prefer the playstation controller because when I play claw all the buttons are withing reach and have more buttons available to adjust my game settings to and not have to take my thumbs off the analog sticks and be able to play comfortably I just wish microsoft made a version of the controller similar to the playstation controller

I use the Galaxy ( purple ) on my Xbox controller. I use the lower stick on my right analog, and leave the left analog stock. I’m so Much more accurate in MWII. KD is up from a .51 to .70 in only a month ( Yeah I suck)
