The answer to beating Denver is moving AD to PF. That was the answer in 2020 when they had Dwight guard Jokic- and that is the answer now. Aaron Gordon can’t do anything to stop AD but AD can definitely neutralize if not stop Gordon. This is why I wanted the Lakers to sign a real center in the off season.

You're forgetting Lakers also have the whistle... especially in the playoffs. For example, I'll just read off the last 2 seasons... the Lakers in 2 years have a +1,017 Free Throw Differential. That's more than the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th teams combined. Warriors are ranked 30th with -650. The next person who says Warriors always get calls needs to slap themselves

If Ham gets the minutes/ rotations right we are not worried. In 5 v 5 the Lakers match up well enough vs the Nuggets. Yes Jokic has a slight edge overall on AD and Murray would have a slightly bigger edge over Dlo if we get inconsistent Dlo. But LeBron has a clear overall edge over Gordon so what Ric was saying there was where he went off the rails. By far LeBron > Gordon. Then Rui who is a consistent starter now would balance out whatever MPJ is giving the Nuggets. The issue is the next spot. I would go with Dinwiddie but even if it is AR, he can provide more points for the Lakers than whatever KCP can give the Nuggets. Last season's sweep was actually close and Lakers only lost in the last couple minutes. Its not like in football/ soccer where a team beats another 4-0 you would have to clearly say they are easily on another level. Its not always the same for basketball series.
