@@GODISGREAT_12 Facts that dummies are looking for Rodgers from 2-3 years ago , look at Brady and think Rodgers is on track to be like him at 40, except that Brady wasn’t trying to come back at 40 with a torn Achilles , and wasn’t relying on his mobility as part of his game. How hard does this have to be ? SMH
@johnberger207
@johnberger207 28 күн бұрын
because we for sure know players come back from this injury in other positions that rely on athleticism, his Achilles is a 0 factor in the things he still does well. hes a great qb because of his arm talent and his ability to read defenses and make offensive changes accordingly. his Achilles effects his ability to do these things literally not at all.

I dont understand this infatuation with the fact that "AR hasnt thrown for 300 yards" in a while. 300 yard games are not a benchmark of a "great QB performance", just ask Jameis Winston. 5000+ yards, but 30 INTs. Yards matter to fantasy owners, its not important to winning NFL games. Rodgers was never a guy who threw for a ton of yards per game. His career per game avg is only 255/gm. He often beat you with 260+ 3-4 TDs with a 1% int rate because hes incredibly efficient. If the defense is doing its job, theres not a ton of need to put up a bunch of yards because youre going to be in positive field position more often. Rodgers makes defensive turnovers even more valuable because he himself wont turn it over often. The Jets are easily going to be in the top 7 in turnover margin. People really havent looked at Rodgers 2022 stat line very hard. All this talk about how "bad" he looked his last season in GB, but he was 7th in the NFL in TDs(without a 300 yrd game), 11th in passing yards with only 12 INTs (same as Allen and Mahomes). He just didnt have many dependable options at WR, he broke a thumb, bruised his ribs, and still only came within 1 win of making the playoffs. The disrespect these talking heads have for a 4x MVP is crazy.

If I'm not mistaken, the Packers in 2022 were tied with Jaguars for the most dropped passes by a wide receiving group. 40 Dropped passes. Like come one, the first game Watson drops a 75-yard bomb. He was playing with a rookie receiving group that was gonna get better with time. A lot of those games with dropped passes could have easily been a 300-yard game. Why no one brings this up about that year is crazy.

Joy can’t stand Rodgers just because he has a different view of opinions than joy. I’ve noticed everyone who hates him is either listening to every article and story and automatically believes everything which isn’t shocking to any of us anymore and because he has different views on life. Dude isn’t a little girl who is afraid of speaking out and actually has balls to say what he says. Most people are too coward to say anything to be canceled cause they soft. Maybe if you had an open mind like I do you’ll finally understand that life isn’t that stressful but you make it stressful on yourself by listening and believing such nonsense.

You played with Aaron for eight years and have how many SB rings or attended James? One. Why are you expecting the Jets to get there in one year then, when you could only do it 1 in 8 with a younger Aaron?

JOY , Brett favre went to the champion ship game at 40 years of age, would have went to super bowl if Adrian peterson doesn't fumble inside the 20 twice against the saints!

Dude doesn't understand the difference between expectations and hope. Two very different thoughts/emotions. I expect Patrick Mahomes to be in the playoffs next year but as a fan of a different franchise, I hope he isn't because he's so good.

As a die hard Packers fan, it is both heart warming and difficult for me to watch James Jones absolutely dying inside because he wants so badly to interrupt the others and go to bat for his QB. As a die hard Packers fan who believes Aaron Rodgers is both the most talented QB to ever throw the ball, but also a complete cancer who is "me first", throws teammates and coaches under the bus he insists on driving himself, and whose time in Green Bay went a year or two too long and I'm overjoyed he is no longer a Packer... I think the Jets are the Jets and despite Rodgers immense arm talent and knowledge of the game, a zebra doesn't change its stripes and when a critical, season defining point comes along- Rodgers gonna Rodgers, he'll make the decision to not trust his team mates, and he'll glory-ball the Jets into a heartbreaker loss to end their chances at a SB appearance. MOST TALENTED COACH KILLER EVER.

Go Joy! No doubt the Jets should be good but they haven’t played on the offensive side of the ball yet so the defense will have to Carry them for a while. Oh and don’t be counting out my Phins. Offense is gonna be NASTY

I don't even like Aaron Rodgers but his last season in G.B his numbers took dramatic dip because the departure of Davonta Adams A.R didn't look washed his most experienced WR had 8 career games going into that season he about to get back to being A.R

His mobility is gone , especially now. There's no way he plays at the level some people are expecting lol. Lower your expectations. It's not a meme to point out that he's 40 and hasn't really done anything recently.

Joy, not only are you a beautiful woman you are smart. I am with you. Let's see the Jets get to the playoffs and then we can discuss the Superbowl. Many folks smarter than I am have said "Every team is good in the playoffs!" This is why everyone is so surprised at the Chiefs run. It is hard to win in the playoffs. You get everyone's best shot. No gimmies. Joy I'm becoming a big fan.
