The Biotech industry has jobs but the salaries are in peanuts especially for a fresher, a person in Bengaluru with 25k a month can only survive, there will be no financial security. Also with experience also, the salary increment is really slow. This is the disadvantage of the biotech career. Not every one is rich some people have to send money to their parents. It is really sad that in India govt or big business people don't give a shit about biology people.

I didn't mean to rant here but i'm going to start my masters in biotechnology and i'm regretting it already as why did i not choose anything else. Plus there is so much competition in the exams.
