Was the band necessary - does not look it. Just another expensive gadget to "keep up with the Joneses" that merely lines Disney pockets.

"NECESSARY", no. But, if you're going to be using lightning lanes all day, it definitely makes things easier

@@mommasnark6534 So let me get this straight - You have to pay extra for lightening lane and then you have to turn around and buy a "magic band" to make the process of riding easier? IDK don't those bands give off radiation? I don't know how safe they are, Disney is not going to tell you, and personally I would not put put those on my granddaughters - but they are cute and you will be first in line in no time. Coming soon, won't be doing lightening lane and I am using my key-card --- I hope people still do that. I can remember a time when we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, rode all the rides for the price of the hotel, and just ate when and where we wanted -- now that was easy. 🤣
