I am 2X Azure certified: AZ-900 and AZ-204. After watching this video, I reckon my achievements do carry at least some weightage!

my experience with the window XP MCP stuff, is nope. It never even landed me a foot in the door role, for the basics. Some one else i spoke to, did the same thing with windows vista, and he was in the same boat. Try getting experience in the ICT field 1st before you invest in courses . That's if you are starting from scratch. Great stuff to learn mind when you start studying it. I dropped it all back in the late 2000s as i was not going anywhere. I was hoping for the MCSA, then the MCSE.

Does this help getting an entry level job if someone has no previous working experience in IT
@techpodssocial4 ай бұрын
Yes, if you're looking for an entry-level position at Microsoft or one of our technology partners I would recommend studying and taking the certification exam!
@TheBlackHandOfTimeАй бұрын
Don't expect a cloud engineer job as an entry level worker. There are no entry level cloud engineer jobs, but that doesnt mean learnings these things and getting certified isnt worth it. You'll use all or most of these things as an entry level (IT Support for example) worker. Your senior team members would also be impressed if you knew how to use Azure (not a fundamental exam) or at least understood the concepts of Azure and the Cloud (AZ-900). In the end it will most certainly help you to stand out, excel, and move forward in your career to become certified. I have 7 years experience in IT Support and I just got AZ-900 and MS-900 over the last month. I'm looking to transition into a cloud engineer role, so I'm doing a learning path that consists of the following exams. AZ900 -> MS900 -> SC900 -> AZ104 -> AZ305 (to be determined as I may work a couple years and then get this after some real Cloud Administration experience) Good luck with your future!

@@TheBlackHandOfTimethe fundamentals are very good and basic certifications to have and employers would love u to have. If your into the modern Workplace I'd recommend md-102 and ms-102, maybe grab a security certification as well. I currently work as a senior analyst cloud engineer which is basically a junior cloud consultant. I recommend not sticking to 1 company and just apply for Cloud Engineer jobs, if u show the certifications and are willing to learn you will get the job

Hi Ralph! "Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate - Certifications" would be my recommendation if you're interested in skilling up on endpoint administration. Happy learning!

I think it might be a bit dated. You’re probably better off doing current and up to date Microsoft certifications if you want a job at Microsoft or Microsoft partners.
