David Lynchs version of Dune is a masterpiece...it had an outstanding cast....also I found all three issues of Marvels Dune in the dollar bin.

David Lynch's Dune is such a Sci-Fi classic. Loved the third-person narration, 80's soundtrack, the Baron's disgusting look and persona, and the old-school effects in that movie.

Getting these new comics that are 9.8 isn’t very impressive but when you get a nice silver age comic that’s a 5 or above that’s far more awesome.

That OG DUNE film....maaaan, it got the look right, and a lot of the visuals just hit home, but the film ain't great. The comic, tho, illustrated by Sienkiewizc, is made of awesomeness. It deserves the love.

I can kick myself in the head for not buying Wolverine #36 because I thought it was a cool cover but unfortunately I was scaling back because comics were going up in prices. I had to back off on cover buys! Lol. At least I have Ulimate Spider-Man #1!

The Ultimate line is white hot and they are going to be switching out the creative teams on all the books regularly so it will keep the titles fresh!

I believe there were two versions of Lynch’s Dune. Theatrical cut and Longer Television Cut. I don’t know if the longer cut is available anymore as I believe its last release was 26 years ago on DVD and VHS era. I do suggest if you can find the longer cut, watch it as more a curiosity than epic.

Dune 2 is SO GOOD. Tom youre going to love it!!! Of course the music, the political themes, the relationships, all very relevant right now. Its as good as they say!!! 🌕

Wait a minute! Dune has political commentary? I want my movies and comics with no political agenda! This is absolutely ridiculous! Warner does it again with the political agenda over story. Unbelievable! 1st Batman and Superman are turned it Cucks, and now this? We must burn DC/Warner down! Give us our all white, bland, no agenda Super heroes back! And after we teach WB, we go get Di$ney for Star Wars and Marvel! Those 1:100 variants for Ultimate X-Men #1 are skyrocketing something ridiculous. The Momoko virgin variant is about to disappear. Not sure what I think of the hype. I'm waiting for my copies to arrive, so haven't read it yet, but am I right to assume it carries on from Momoko's Demon Days/Wars runs? Not a massive fan of her work, but don't hate it neither. It's good, but I'm more a Sienkiewizc kinda guy, art style wise, so I'm biased. What do you guys reckon on the speculation around the introduction of the new character in #2? Hit or dud?

It feels like New Mutants #100 should be a much more popular book than it is 🤔 because it's not just the end of a major series, it's technically the sign of another major series beginning. & Laura's solo title under the Wolverine mantle should be popular regardless of film speculation, as well, it was a good series with great art, memorable covers, etc. A lot of these more modern X-Men & related titles are going to trend more over the next few years as the classic issues become more & more scarce, people find themselves with less & less money to spend on collecting, & inflation drives the cost of living through the roof.

Im not a fan at all of Peaches art or read X-men normally, that being said, I was very hopeful for Ultimate X-men, I gave it a 2/10 & again it might be my taste, but so far its my worst rated comic of the year.

This whole episode I kept thinking Marvel and DC didn't like the response from the market. Especially after the downer report a few episodes ago. So they put the squeeze on these guys to report these specific books to re-establish hype for marketing and bring the shareholders back to norms. Were they dressed like goons Tom?!? What'd they look like?! Blink if you need help...
