loved every second. knew by about the 12s mark it was going to be a belter. so relatable. shame the fishings so shite at this time of year, things are always better when you leave for a bit and come back, feb march and April force you to do that with fishing. as soon as may comes round your keener than ever to be able to do some proper fishing and the fish are keener then ever to take a lure. love how your making the best from such a challenging time of year 🎣👊

The SG2 rod is a bit soft for pike fishing. Thats why you get so much fish off. Great video keep it up !
@Edge-of-Reason10 ай бұрын
I like this content. Your passion is evident. One of the main reason big pike are in decline is the anglers to targeting them in the spring/summer months. It may be inconvenient but the evidence has been well known for years. If we want good stocks then we need to leave them well alone from April to October. Without that all other issues like water quality won't matter. Stop following any "experts" who are sponsored to sell you lures 12 months a year. They are lying.

Pike at the surface in the middle of the lake. Happens more often than you think. Since they have an open swimbladder they now and then have to fill it up again with air. What you filmed there is typical, but you only see it in those conditions, not your normal pike conditions with waves on the surface😊

Windermere has lots of bream now ! As the big lancashire reservoirs do ! N them big pike eat them ! All the reservoirs have 30s, grane , wayho , jumbles , Rivington, anglesark , . Certainly think bream sholes might be key for big girls.

A bit of advice why arnt you trolling with the electric motor? Here in Canada on a lake this size trolling using slow/fast s turns lands big fish with big lures worth a try yes. Any road keep your stick on the ice!!
